Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

I don't think the Browns are working the phones to unload players. Teams that are looking for players are making calls. With the exception of Little or Weeden the only way the Browns do anything is if someone wants to go full retard for one of their players like the Colts did for Richardson. They aren't going to trade a young very productive player like Gordon for anything less than a slam dunk trade that they can spin as not tanking the season.
With Gordon they could just say (privately but leaked to the media of course) that they thought he liked purple drank too much. Now Cameron, on the other hand, they would basically have no good excuse for trading for anything, even a first.

That's the thing. Talent wise Gordon is in the top 10 of WR's in the NFL. He's young and still not at his peak. If I'm a GM from another team and the Browns accept my offer for a trade the first thing I'm thinking is what do they know that I don't? My guess is if he does get traded he won't make it through next season before getting suspended again.

I agree, and I don't think he's going to make it through next season here without getting suspended again either. Can't deny the man's talent, but much like at Baylor and Utah...that isn't at all the problem.

Fragel is with no doubt, a developmental player. That said, he has athletic ability that Schwartz doesn't. I wonder if the idea is too move Schwartz to guard and Fragel to tackle?

That's just spit balling. Outside from a few JT penalties - the oline did a pretty damn good job against KC. We won't see a front seven that good the remaining part if the schedule. If Campbell can continue to distribute the ball and minimize mistakes (coupled with the online maintaining this level of play) it's hilarious to think that this team has an outside shot at 8-8.

Since they signed him off of Cincy's practice squad they have to keep him on the active roster for 3 weeks. That doesn't mean he'll be active for games. If he can pick up the system he might be a good backup this year that can come in to play some TE on the goal line. My thought during the draft was that he could play RT with Schwartz moving down to guard, but he is going to have to show well enough in practice to take someone else's spot when Pinkston comes off the IR. For me that would be Cousins.

So apparently all of the quotes in the new training facility are either misquoted or completely made up...well done Cleveland. Apparently the Browns can't get anything right.

President Abraham Lincoln never said this. It has been used by Joe Biden to similar effect, though.

Abraham Lincoln... Joe Biden... same thing, really.
