I do not know how much great difference it makes or how big a change it is but he is also moving from the left side to the right side and everyone seems to be making a big deal out of that. I did not realize that there was such a big adjustment from one side to the othe especially on defense.

I played OL not DL, but I can imagine it would be a pretty big difference. Kind of like being right handed and being told that you now have to do everything left handed. You know how to do everything, but it is backwards from the way you are used to doing it.

I knew that hogs did not play defense:wink: May be they just have him play with his back to the line of scrimmage and that would take care of that. I really see what you mean. That is probably true in most sports when you switch from one side to another. I guess I was not thinking very clear which is not unusual.

LDE is generally the more stout player against the run. Not the pass rushing specialist of the RDE, a little larger and (speaking in generalities) less athletic.

Sheard might have been about 255 coming out, but he wasn't a Demarcus Ware type fluid athlete that could bend his knees, dip his hips and turn the corner. Again, in generalities - not the athlete in space too cover.

Does it really matter? It's the clowns! He'll dislocate his left hip playing paintball two weeks before camp opens and he'll never see the field anyway.
It has been awhile since we have lost a player to injury from a thown penalty flag. I was going to go with that in the last quarter of the last pre season game.

Ahhh yes....some shortimer umpire will throw a holding flag on some backup of the backup of the backup left tackle trying to make the roster of whatever team it is the Browns are playing and mingo will step on it, roll his ankle to the point that his ankle as switched places with his heel. Then, the quarter or whatever coin said short-timer umpire was using to weight down the flag will cut into the ankle, which will promptly get a staph infection.

I can see it now.

Then he'll blame Ohio State fans for not really wanting him here because LSU beat us in the 2007 NC game.

CB- Leon McFadden, Whale's Vagina State

Don't know much. But, eh, he's a CB.

Position of the greatest need. We're past the point of me knowing anything about the players on the board, but I can't argue with drafting a CB. So far the Browns are a better team than they were last year.
