Oh, to be a Browns fan

Not anymore.
I'm 53 yrs old. Been a loyal Browns fan since I knew what a football was.
Sat there and watched Red Right 88 in person, same with "The Drive"
Stuck by this team through some mighty miserable seasons, always chanting the Official Browns Mantra......"Wait till next year"
After the ridiculous [Mark May] they are doing in this years draft (not at all unexpected) I give up! I can't even find a sick sort of humor in it anymore, even as twisted as MY sense of humor is. See ya Browns, see ya NFL.....I'm just gonna stick to the Buckeyes and college football. :sad2:

Just wait until next April:lol: At lease the picks cannot be criticized where there are none. Hopefully, there will be some decent undrafted free agents. It is all part of the master plan:bonk:

It isn't like trading a high pick in a round this year for a low pick in an earlier round next year is that much of an improvement. The only thing I can think of is they want to see what they can do with the players already on the roster and will have a lot of picks to work with next year.

Begging for Stoney and Boren.

That's what makes the last two rounds such a joke. It's not as if there's nobody left out there that might be better than the 53rd best guy on the Browns' roster. Even the Ravens, 49ers, Ravens and Broncos are finding areas where they can improve, but the Browns look at their roster and see none apparently.

when you have a roster with superbowl talent you might as well acquire more picks...and remember lombardi has ties with the master of collecting picks, bill belichick

Not necessarily. You really cannot say that until the guys that they are selecting in the later rounds make the roster. The 49ers have so many draft choices they do not know what to do with them. Not sure about the Broncos and why did you mention the Ratbirds twice? I will hold off judgment to see what happens. I agree every once in a while you find a really good player in the fourth-seventh-round but not often.

I can't believe Shurmur was such a bad coach that he was only able to win 5 games with a SB roster. The pass rush must have been the difference.

McFadden also has longer arms, WO in reality he's not much smaller length wise. So there's no reason why he can't be a #2 cb.

Also hard to argue with the Bess trade. Move down 7 spots in the 4th, give up the San Fran 5th and get a 7th and he signs a 3 year extension that's a good deal.

There are still 3 free safeties that are potential starting caliber guys.

If nothing notching else, the front office at least appears to have a plan that they are executing.

Was Jamoris slaughter one of those 3?

Oh excellent he didn't play... Achilles injury

The 49ers seem to have enough of an idea to make actual selections. Denver too. Listing the Ravens twice was a typo. Replace one of those instances with virtually any other team in the NFL, since they are finding a way to use their draft picks this year and probably have a better roster to start with too.

How many good players can you find in the later rounds by not selecting at all?

 They picked a guy who didn't play last year. I guess they couldn't find a trade partner from the future to forfeit the pick, so they found the next closest thing.

Change in MO... It had been WR... Now its S that hadn't played in a year
