people realize that shayne graham has a higher career fg% then Dawson right?
Graham is not a better field-goal kicker then Phil Dawson and I do not care about you field-goal % because that means squat kicking in Browns Stadium and you know that! Plus, they just did not sign Graham they signed another kicker from Georgia to kick off for them. Dawson could do both. Do not let the facts get in your way:shake:

you do realize the other guy they signed is camp fodder right? also shayne graham drilled a 53 yarder in foxboro, in january. i really don't think signing a decent replacement for a guy that wanted out of down is meltdown worthy, especially if you're going to ignore the stats that ruined your preconceived notion.

This is the worst fucking mock draft I have ever seen. If this happens I will drive to Berea and burn the whole thing to the fucking ground.

If Milliner is available at 6 it better take kings ransom to get the Browns to trade out of that spot. Miami has the picks to do it, but I don't see them pulling the trigger. If Milliner is gone then a deal like this is what the Browns will be hoping for minus the Geno Smith part.

Trot Dawson and Graham out in a pressure situation and I put my money on Dawson every day. Trot them out when it's 38-0 and I'll put my money on Graham all day.

Graham is about as shaky as it gets in pressure situations.

If this franchise touches Geno Smith or ANY QB in the 1st round... I will immediately walk outside, take off my nike dri-fit Browns gear (which I'll be wearing at the time) and promptly burn it.

I'm heading to the draft party at the stadium. I'm taking an extra shirt just in case said nightmare scenario occurs. I will renounce my fanhood. Which, I never believed I would end up saying.

what is his field-goal % kicking off natural grass and I am not talking about Field turf. Also, how many teams has he been with in the past 5 years. I think quite a few. Also, how many 50 yard field goals as he kicked during his career. Do not even try and compare him to Dawson. ""camp fodder" that is what you say about every kicker the Browns bring in. Go over and fool the people on OBR and then come back and make a donation.

i will take dawson over graham any day of the week...all homerism aside, i think dawson is a top 3 kicker in the league...if he would of been on a winning team for half his career he would of be given more props...stats or no stats, dawson has proven he is clutch for the browns...remember the bills @ browns game in december during that blizzard?

In 2007, I made a deal with myself that as long as they didn't overthink it and took Thomas with the 3rd pick, I wouldn't get pissed, no matter waht else they did. And I sort f took that same tack with Richardson/Weeden(or other QB's, primarily Tannehill) once it became more clear that Richardson would be their first target. In both cases I waivered quite a bit, but somehow kept sane.

Now, I take this tack, mostly because in both of those cases, they did something smart (getting Thomas and Richardson) follwed by something stupid (Quinn, Weeden - and let me be clear that the move to get Quinn was unforgiveably, mind numbingly, sacrifice the future and fuck up the salary cap stupid, whereas the Weeden thing was more a move up, lightning in a bottle stupid, and at worst they overpayed for a backup pick-wise and not so much money-wise stupid).

I'm sort of deciding how I want to hedge this one... Mostly what I'm thinking is, as long as they don't take him at 6, I'll be okay. (This lets them trade down, get more assets then draft a QB, I won't like it, but, I might live through it)

Fuck that. First round QB (any player at any pick) and I'm done. The last thing this team needs in the first round this year is a QB.

I can't minimize the stupidity of picking a QB, more specifically ANY QB in this draft in the 1st round. Its a)unnecessary b) not an intelligent move considering area's of critical need and c) bad business.

You don't take a mediocre QB in a piss-poor draft and try to convince yourself he can be the franchise.

Geno has weakness' that have been comparable to Weedens without the added benefit of the fact that, Brandon does have a pretty damn strong arm.

He's slow off his first read, goes to his checkdown - isn't available and then has trouble resetting and going through progressions. Basically Brady Quinn all over again.

If they take Dion Jordan. I'll be fucking pissed. If they trade down and take Xavier Rhodes, I'll be pretty upset. (At least we'd have a free safety) If Milliner is available and they trade down, I'll be pissed. If not, they trade down, take Warmack, Vacarro or Trufant and get a high 2nd rounder... I'll be upset we didn't get our man, but I'll be willing to go along with it.

I hear you, but this is my problem. After they left, I tried to root for other teams... it didn't work for me. Even an Eddie George led Titans team couldn't make me give half a shit, so, I can say I'm done, but, then I'm done with the NFL, and then what the fuck am I gonna do Sundays in the fall?

Went thru exact same experience... and found out my life got simpler.. cuz I never had to figure out how I was gonna arrange my Sunday around the Browns game... now, by end of September, my season is already over.. we're already 4 games out... and my Sundays are wide open again

Buds ask "how about team so-and-so".. and I don't have a clue... cuz I barely know NFL exists
PS and I hate being this way... cuz I really really want to experience Minnie & Hanford at the corners again
