Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

Tampa was gonna trade up for TR3, I forgot...They took Doug Martin later on...

We have to sign a DB...I want Talib....Also I really like Louis Delmas but him resigning in Det couldn't hurt our chances if Milliner falling...The afore mentioned idea that anybody who is trading up this year is stupid is correct...Weak draft for first round prospects....I wouldn't want to be anywhere near the top ten where the future of your respective franchise depends on nailing the pick...I still see Warmack as the best option to draft safely in a position of need but further down than #6...That is also provided we sign a CB though...

I'm not sure how much more crystal clear I can be here. I wouldn't mind signing Nnamdi - if the price is respectable. Grimes, same story. Cason? Maybe. He would have to come pretty damn cheap. My main concern is pass defense. If Milliner isn't available, turn to Jarvis Jones. A rush would really help the secondary as well and the damn Giants won two superbowl with middle of the road secondaries. (not saying I want to take that approach)

edit: Fuck it. Throw money at Grimes. There, that better?
Much better. Every other team is throwing money around except for the really good ones that most of them don't have any money to throw around. What are you going to do with it... save it for next year or maybe the next:shake:

I'm sure Banner has a lovely record collection to spend some money on. And Metamucil...

Good to hear the Browns are talking to CB's.

I don't know anything about Grimes except he is coming off an injury, but I think I'd still draft Milliner and hope one of them can play FS.
from the same link he is coming off a torn Achilles but we need help in the defensive backfield that there is not much out there. Get him and take Milliner if he is available at 6
Back in February, Pro Football Focus rated Grimes as their No. 1 free agent cornerback, well ahead of guys like Keenan Lewis and Aqib Talib. Their basis, though, was related to his 2011 performance, and did not account for his injury concerns.

I hope you went to church today:wink: because if he does not fall to #6 we are in big trouble

As a matter of fact, due to my overwhelming Irish Catholic guilt - I went to a 7am service this morning. First time I've had communion in a long while.
Mainly because of all the sinning that I will in fact be doing today.

And don't get your panties in a bunch, the Browns are at least expressing serious interest in Grimes.

Edit: if not for my iPhone awesome word correction I doubt that post would be coherent.

If you only knew:wink:

I know that the Browns are serious about Grimes but I'm not sure if he is even going to be ready to play in exhibition games yet the regular season. Doesn't mean much anyhow until he signs a contract.

I don't know maybe the Browns are waiting for other teams to use up their money so they won't be able to match what the Browns offer. The only problem playing with that game is what players are still going to be available.
