Cleveland Browns (2013 Season)

I'm trying to think of the last time the Browns had two All Pro players ... Either way - that's what Gordon and Haden are heading too.

Incredible that this team might have 4 or even 5 Pro Bowl players and are still held back by quarterback play.

It's just a sign that now may be the time to strike and get that QB of the future. Unfortunately, there isn't much hope for this draft class I don't think. I wonder if Washington would like the Colts 1st rounder for Kirk Cousins

At least the Browns proved that they could still lose even when Josh Gordon didn't have a record-setting performance.

And why does Mary Kay Cabot keep insisting that Jason Campbell is an elite quarterback?

She's still too busy trying to get Lombardi to trade for Justin Blackmon.

As for the shit show, hell, keep losing...Minnesota moved ahead of us today, Atlanta is now tied...we could get a great draft position after a humiliating loss to the Jets to end the season :slappy:

People who are hoping they aren't going to draft a QB high had better prepare themselves...Banner and Lombardi had their eye on this draft for that purpose when they got here. They will not pass it up, even if they should.

We heard a similar sentiment last year when Geno Smith was available. Lets see how bowl season and the combine shake things up.

Peter King chimes in:
"I continue to think Cleveland, using the late-first-round pick acquired from Indy in the Trent Richardson deal, is a realistic spot for (Kirk) Cousins if he plays very well in the final three games. Offensive coordinator Norv Turner wants more of a standard dropback quarterback than a run-around guy like Johnny Manziel. If the Browns could use their first first-rounder on another need position (wideout, corner) and the pick in the 20s on Cousins, that would give Turner a chance to get a young veteran ready for opening day faster than he could with anyone Cleveland would pick in a May draft four months from opening day."
