The Browns should have drafted the OG who was replacing Moffitt on Seattle's OL.

Another note from the Browns,, Weeden was named the starting quarterback? Shocking.

the browns should have definitely known that a 7th round pick that played as much DL as OL in college was a must have.

No surprise here, Weeden named the starter.

I'm intrigued to see what he can do under Chud/Turner. If Chud could make Derek freakin' Anderson a pro-bowlter, I'm sure he can wring some production out of Weeden.

Ok let me put on my rosiest pair of glasses. The main bad thing about Weeden is that he is a nearly 30 year old 2nd year QB. If Chud and Turner are the real deal there is no reason that Weeden can't be the QB that the Browns need for the next 5-7 years during which time they can use lower draft picks to try to find the next Brady, Wilson, or Kaepernick.

While I still have the glasses on and we're under the assumption that Chud is a good HC this could be the last stop he makes in his career. He grew up a Browns fan so he's pretty much in Meyer at OSU territory assuming he builds a winner. Turner is up in years and will hopefully be content being an OC for the rest of his career. I don't know if anyone would give him another HC gig at this point, but stranger things have happened.

Best case for Horton is that he is in Cleveland for 2-3 years. If he can build the Browns D into the top unit in the AFC North he will have his pick of HC jobs over the next few years. The biggest thing Chud will need to do is find another up and coming DC that runs a similar system to Horton to take over.

Ok glasses off. Browns are getting crushed by the Colt's Saturday and we start talking about the next draft Monday.

The Colts Oline is still pretty damn shoddy. They also make very little dedication to the run game. If we win the battle up front - which I expect. The LB's and Ends will pin their ears back and notch a few sacks.

Weeden will either be significantly better this year or he will be Dirty Dog Dogness, which will lead to the Browns making a run at a QB in next year's draft. Either way, this is it for him, he either produces or he is gone.

That is the key difference between a 24 year old second year player and a 30 year old second year player. I'm hoping that he is good enough this year to make us forget about early round QB's for a few years.

Nice! Thinking about checking it out myself, just because.

Upper deck $20 in the end zone mezzanine. I am hoping they open the big doors and the roof. I think there were some 50 yd line uppers for about the same. I figure we can move down during the game.

Let me know if you head there.
