Lots of media here today saying Weeden might not even be on the roster next year, especially if they go in a different direction and bring in an Alex Smith type to be the starter...I don't know about all that, but the Weeden experiment could be over after a year if the coaching changes.

I don't understand why anyone would want Alex Smith. If they cut off Weeden after this season we all might as well become Steelers fans. Find a coach that thinks he can win with what the Browns have on offense. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there that can do it.

Okay, I know that one game does not make a NFL QB but I posted this before the draft.

Richardson is a very unhappy camper. Saying on Cleveland sports that the coaching staff went away from the game plan.

I don't think anyone wanted Weeden before the draft, but now that they used the #22 pick on him I don't think they can throw him out after a year. Shurmur has to be gone at this point so it is up to Haslam and Banner to find a coach that can fit offensively with what the Browns have to work with. If a coach can make Alex Smith look good there has to be someone out there that can make Weeden a good NFL QB.

I guess what I don't understand about Weeden is after 14 regular-season games he still looks very tentative and just can't seem to make up his mind where he wants to throw the ball. I don't know if a coach can correct that or not but I certainly hope that you are correct. He just doesn't seem very athletic which is strange since he played semi professional baseball. Maybe they need to get out of that West Coast offense and fast.

Fat Ass Holmgren really set this franchise back by drafting Weeden when it has been proven this year that they were better QBs available in the draft. Even Wilson is playing better.

With everything this team needs, spending another high draft pick on a QB is remarkably stupid, IMHO. Since this franchise returned, we have brought in one QB after another without first build a team for the QB to work with. Between Weeden and McCoy I think we will be OK until the team is a "franchise QB" away from the Super Bowl.

Seriously though, nah, it's not like the environment inside the stadium is a problem, or that the people charged with regulating it contribute to it...if Haslam does anything immediately, I hope he addresses the way stadium ushers and security work, regardless of what really happened in this situation.

Reminiscing. When I was a kid the Browns were playing in the old Stadium and they were playing with the Steelers. Back then we used to park down by the Flats and walk the train tracks to the games. I was always with my uncle. Anyhow, I can remember seeing a train that came in from Pittsburgh and there would be empty liquor bottles in the windows. One Sunday it had snowed pretty heavily and you could make a good snowball. It was pretty easy to throw a snowball from the bleachers to the lower left fiel grandstands and some teenage kids thought they would snowball some Steeler fans and the Steeler fans got pretty pissed off. Anyhow, the next thing I knew was that they were about 5 Steeler fans coming out of the bleacher entrances and approaching the teenagers who had been throwing snowballs. The Steeler fans got a few licks in on the kids but they made a big mistake because the next thing I saw was about 10 Browns fans throwing the Steeler fans over the bleacher benches. Those were the good days.

yeah I was reminiscing the other night too. It was about Mary Jane Bohanek who lived on the other street and down the alley from us. She was 3 years older than me.
During the summer we'd sleep out and later, about her time to go to bed, we'd go down the alley and watch her thru the upstairs window.

I know, I know this has nothing to do with the browns but who cares?
