Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

Not sure which board you were reading. Certainly wasnt
This one. Many of us were/are unhappy about the Weeden
Pick. We did nothing in FA market aside from Rucker. Then
Took hughes in the 3rd.

"Strong" isnt the way I'd put it. But BW did fare better
Against baltimore then Dalton did. With less talent too.
That is somewhat encouraging.

Sarcasism brother!

While looking competitive, I still don't see a win on that schedule.

I see a team looking at the #1 overall pick in a draft where the presumed #1 pick is now looking VERY underwhelming at USC. Hence I don't see a difference making trade happening this year.

Joe Thomas looking downright average this season. It seems that the losing has taken its toll on him and he's going through the motions at times.

WRs who can't catch. Coaches who look lost.

I'm very optimistic about the future with Jimmy Haslam, but I fear that future is WAY down the road.

Agreed, just not in the way you think. I think we can all agree that this is a team that will pick in the top two. If we get the number one overall pick I think we may be able to get a Robert Griffin like trade package for a team who wants Geno Smith. This all of course is dependent on Smith putting up the most ridiculous numbers in the history or football. I would like to get a deal where we can stay in the top ten to get a pass rusher and pick up multiple picks. I know it's early, but it's something to think about.

For those of you that are interested (this may have already been posted) the NFL network is airing an episode of A Football Life that is titled, wait for it....

Cleveland '95.

A look back at how the Browns and their fans had an all star lineup on the coaching staff and in the front office and then the city had the rug pulled out from under them.

Some day we'll be watching a documentary about the positives having to do with this team. Someday.
