Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

i'd take alex mack over mark sanchez right now straight up, let alone everything else cleveland got in the deal.

Sad thing is we should have raped them sideways on that deal by the time it was over...if that regime could evaluate talent at all, and we could have gotten 3 solid starters, or shit even role players, from the second round that year, the Jets would be boned awful and we would at least be sniffing an 8-8 record.

the jets rumor was them trading up to #3 to get Richardson...they have contacted him:

http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/sto...-contact-trent-richardson-fueling-speculation

and another rumor was STL trading up with Minnesota to take Richardson with all their extra picks they have this year...now if this does indeed happen i would be dissapointed if we took anyone but Claibourne...on top of the fact i will be dissapointed if we do not get Richardson...i dont even think taking Richardson at #4 is the right move, but at this point i dont see anyone else in this draft that could help impact our offense right out of the gate other then him...so worse case scenario i dont see us leaving the #4 pick without claibourne...which is fine...another CB is a position of need for us....i just hope we will then shell out the money to keep both when that time comes, Haden obviously first...at #22 i think we then look at RB or WR

yes please...another 1st round OL for montario hardesty and brandon jackson to run dump trucks thru...maybe he could line up at either FB or TE as well

They would both blow a nut walking through those holes unfortunately. Would love to have him on my team. He or Claiborne are best for me, but I could like Richardson or even Blackmon. ABT.

Personally I would love it if we could swindle the Rams 2 second rounders to drop from 4 to 6, presumably because they want Richardson...then we would have 1) Blackmon or Claiborne, whoever is left, + 2) another first round pick, plus 3) 3 of the first 6 picks in round 2. Given some of the guys we've gotten recently in those other spots (Taylor, Sheard, Little, Ward) if we could avoid the Hardesty curse, we should be able to get 5 starters from that haul, and still get one of the elite players at the top. It will never happen, but I can dream.

I don't see the Rams giving up that much to move up for Richardson when they have a much more glaring need at WR that they can (likely) address staying put. The scenario that seems more likely is Tampa wanting Richardson badly enough to leap frog up to three to grab him. But, hard to say if Minny would be willing to do that.
