Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

Tate is a great player but he has had some injury problems too. Still he would be worth a flier if they want to use the draft picks on a different position...which hopefully isn't QB, because if they take Tannehill at 4 it will be the dumbest move they have ever made...and yes, I know what that is saying.

This does not make sense given that Tate was selected before Hardesty. Many believe that the Browns were targeting Tate and then panicked when he was selected which resulted in the trade-up for Hardesty.
Ah, you're correct...I read he was drafted #68, not 58..forgot he was the guy that went immediately prior to Hardesty.

we could debate that for hours on a bar stool.. pretty sure I can convince you it might make the top 10 but nowhere near THE dumbest

Not really clowns related, but just an example of "buyer beware"...

NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City police say a woman has accused NFL star receiver Brandon Marshall of punching her in the face at a nightclub.
The woman alleges the incident occurred at 3:50 a.m. Sunday outside the Marquee in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.
Police are investigating a complaint she filed Monday evening.

That guy is a [censored]ing menace. I don't care how many 90 catch seasons he puts up, some guys aren't worth the baggage. Chicago is out of their mind trading for that guy.

Ok I need help with the 37 pick. I am a few picks away but the best players available at relevent positions at the round 1-2 level are below. Thoughts?

Vinny Curry - DE Marshall
Zach Brown - OLB UNC
David Wilson - RB VT
Did you draft a RB yet? If not, Wilson.

Cleveland picked up Frostee Rucker from the Bengals. He's a DE but I don't see him as a big upgrade at the DE. Damn tough choice. Curry or Brown. I like Wilson (very good RB but has fumble issues) but I think you can get another RB later (Doug Martin, Pead or Chris Polk). Can't go wrong with either and the Browns run defense was terrible (rush end or speedy OLB.

Vinny Curry

Lavonte David should be there in the 3rd at OLB.

Disagree with the bolded statement. I think David will go in the 2nd at the latest (Kiper actually had him at #22 in his latest mock). He would fit well on the Browns D and I would be fine with him at #37.

rucker is substantially better than jayme mitchell.

as for the pick, take vinny curry. he was phenomenal at his pro day today. you can get rb's like peade in the 3rd.
