Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

This is sort of hard to believe. I guess I thought that Bernie would have had back to back 300 yd. passing games or, at least, one of the guys that followed him:wink:
Brandon Weeden will be bucking history when he and the Browns face the Bills on Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

No Browns quarterback since Brian Sipe in 1983 has had back-to-back 300-yard passing games. Oddly enough, Sipe's second game in the set was on Oct. 2, 12 days before Weeden was born 29 years ago.

Bernie Kosar never accomplished back-to-back 300-yard games. Neither did anyone who followed him.

A good game for Weeden in front of the home fans would do a lot to keep them off his back for the rest of the season since it's still unlikely they will win many games.

300 yard games then are like 400 yard games now, so I guess I can believe it, but it is surprising Kosar didn't do it.

As for Weeden, he has one fucktacular game, and one good game...we'll see what the tiebreaker is this week.
