Cleveland Browns (2011 season)

and this is why the Steelers are good year in and year out....

Pouncey, Heyward...they just find late first rounders to plug in for 10 years. It's amazing what they do with personnel, really.

That said, fuck those fucking fuckasses.

That said, [censored] those [censored]ing [censored]asses.

They are the anti-Browns.

I think Pittsburgh and Baltimore hit the fucking jackpot with their first picks.

Both got great prospects at positions of need.

How about Bowers in the second? Is that possible?

It's likely possible, but they were saying earlier that several teams wouldn't clear him medically, so I imagine one of those teams might be the Browns, or they would have waited and taken him at #27 instead of trading up to get whatshisass.

I just wish they would have waited for Taylor to fall to 27 or even their first pick in the second like some others have said. I'm willing to be patient.

Not saying Phil is a bad pick but he would have been there at 27. I had Wilkinson out of Temple rated higher. Stupid trade to move up 6 spots for a guy that would have been there and give up a 3rd round pick.

This was just as stupid as the move to get Hardesty last year. Damn you guys stop trying to out smart yourselves. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

I like what the Saints did more. Jordan and Ingram. Damn good draft day for them.

The Browns trading up should give you every reason to assume he wasn't going to be there at 27. If they thought he'd be there, they wouldn't have given up their first third round pick in a deep draft to get him.

That tells me that he was valued more highly by NFL GMs than Mel Kiper, and tells me that the Browns love him.

Honestly tomorrow is probably a more important day than today for the Browns now...Bowers, WRs like Jurnigan, maybe a rushing LB...we can still have a good draft, but we need to seriously build. I wouldn't be surprised to see one WR and the rest DL for the remainder of the early/middle rounds. No way they stop at Taylor.

Conspiracy theory here, but maybe the browns trading up is what fucked up the ravens pick enough for them to miss, after all, they probably didn't think in their wildest dreams Taylor wouldn't be there. Just a thought, probably not true.
