it was a JOKE, bro :tongue2:

9ers fans seem pretty cool to me, the couple that I know. Of course the bandwagon types have long put the 49ers stuff away and then gone from Dallas to New England to a few other teams by now, so the bandwagoners are long gone like the Cryami ones are.

I know it was a joke, I was just saying.. I was hoping they weren't like Miami fans but I honestly wasn't sure.

Well the Bears certainly aren't holding back...Peppers, Chester Taylor, and Manumaleuna (cuz you know they need to fill that critical 5th TE spot). Methinks they might be piling it on a bit too much and too early. I'm glad the Browns aren't doing that.

And Mike Martz's offenses are known for their use of the TE...

Methinks it's time for the Browns to put in a trade offer for Greg Olsen.

Not really sure.. when I was a little kid I always played Madden and used the 49ers. I think it was because they were really good when I was young and I really liked Steve Young? I don't know really. My parents aren't sports fans so I just kind of latched onto teams when I was young and stuck with them. The Niners are the only non-area team I like though. Penguins/Indians/Cavs/Niners

Thats cool, I always wonder how fans latch onto teams across the coast or in different regions. madden can have that effect

Odd. I thought you said you were a Steelers fan that has started pulling for the Browns. :tongue2:

I had rooting interest in the Steelers because of the Penguins. I liked them a good bit for a few years, seemed like I liked them less and less each year after winning the first Super Bowl. Not sure why.. Always liked the 49ers and still do. But the Browns are creeping up there.

Browns signed Tony Pashos (RT) and Scott Fujita (LB). Both are good signings. Fujita is probably a starter. Don't know much about Pashos. I know he's been a starter, but I haven't seen him play. I'd imagine he'll start too given the problems on the right side of the line.

Really like the Fujita signing. Pashos, at least, provides some OL depth.

Depends on how much of that is guaranteed money I guess. I don't really care though, I like the signings. That's a big time area of need for this team and they made a solid, unspectacular move. The Browns need a lot more of the solid and unspectacular.

N.O. must have really been trying to lowball him then, because $14 million over 3 years is hardly expensive.

The answer is here:

k. Scott Fujita did not want to leave New Orleans. No way. But when the Browns gave him $8 million guaranteed over three years (three years, $14 million total), Fujita just had to say yes. He wouldn't have gotten half that with the Saints. Now he'll be a great role model type for a young defense and work alongside looming star D'Qwell Jackson for a year or two.
