Veteran lineman Rex Hadnot, who was capable of playing three positions, suffered what appeared to be a serious injury to his left knee on a pass play in team drills.

Hadnot, playing left guard with the second unit, was engaged in a block with defensive end Louis Leonard. Behind Hadnot, left tackle George Foster and linebacker David Veikune were dueling. It appeared Veikune tripped over Foster's leg and fell on the back of Hadnot's knee.

I hope this doesn't do him in for this season because he is a quality backup player and was giving Steinbach a little run for his money. It also might take away some of the flexibility of the OL if he is done for the season.

Davis, out of Clemson, is looking good and a second-year OLB, Titus Brown, who they picked up is showing some good signs:)

oh, Edwards is back on the practice field also:wink2:

Davis was a damn good RB at Clemson...I saw about a half dozen games where no one could handle him, and then a few others where he looked more ordinary, but the vast majority of the time he was finding seams and getting some yards. I was fired up to see us pick him up and I am hoping he can spell Jamal at times this year as a third option (I really want to see Harrison more too obviously).
