Cleveland Browns (2007 & prior)

im glad youre not the gm of the team

And I'm glad you're not either. Then we'd have...

"Brady Quinn back to throw ... looking for Braylon Edwards....

... sacked."

... interception."

... dropped."

Then you'd have Braylon Edwards strangling Quinn on the sideline, whining to the coaching staff and the media about how much Quinn sucks, and then eventually either:

1. Braylon would get traded

2. Braylon would get released

... which leads me back to my original statement...

Seriously, can we please deal Braylon Edwards for a late first round pick.....?

Wow! I'm not sure if that would be a good move or not. On one hand Vick is still a great QB. On the other hand we have so many positions that need to be addressed in the draft....maybe if there are some quality OL left on the board it might not be a bad move for the Browns....I feel that is one of the major issues to be addressed (OL), besides the front office :)

Vick sucks and if he went to the Browns it would only make him worse. Browns haven't had a successful QB since Bernie. Vick I believe is the highest payed QB or second and that you can't have these days with the salary cap. Plus good dang the browns need more then a QB. How about a O-line and some DBz? I was a Vick supporter till he started flicking fans off and smuggling weed through an airport. The Browns have enough immature players. They need leaders that lead by example and not whine or throw there helmets. People like Edwards or Winslow.
What I would do in the draft. I would get Joe Thomas OL with there 1st pick and see if Levi Brown OL from Penn State is available. You can start Levi at Guard and he was very impressive this year and could fall. I like Drew Stanton Michigan ST. QB alot!

if Braylon went tOSU you guys would fellate him to no end and overlook his mistakes.
Nonsense - this about the correct value for a 3rd pick in the 1st round. The fact that Braylon is an ex-weasel is secondary to his poor attitude and woeful production, relative to when he was picked.

I suppose deflections like this are easier than countering SD's point about his disruptive character on the team.

Jenkins is regularly lumped in with the other Falcons WRs (and rightly so) as a major liability to their offensive productivity. (This comes up often during the Vick thread)

Boston isn't even discussed these days, unless you count references to his affinity for taunting and roids.

I can not agree with your more on all counts. Trade Scummer Braylon and let's get as much as we can for him, he shows moments of being great, but he is cancer for this team and will always be Brickhands Braylon. Quinn, nothing else needs to be said other than what you already have stated, and King as a GM is a disturbing thought.

We should trade B.E. for another late 1st early 2nd round pick, get Johnson with our first pick and trade the second 1st round pick for a couple O-line prospects.

I like Braylon, he whines, but if a good pass comes his way he could catch it. So I dont want to trade him out of hate. I think Calvin Johnson and I healthy Winslow makes Frye ALOT better. How can all these browns fans not like Frye? Did you guys actually watch him in college? Give Frye and decent O-line with two good targets and you guys will forget will quick.

Quinn will be your protoypical "4 teams til he fit" QB. He, to me, doesnt look the part. He lacks the look of someone that can motivate mean 10 years his senior. He hasnt won a game where they shouldnt and he has been the reason when ND lost to teams they shouldnt. Take Michigans exposureby USC and then look at how ND did against USC and scUM? 20+ point loses, he gave away the scUM game and then had no fire/spark in the USC game.

I think Quinn will get drafted early, have 4 years spent wasted on him then bounce around until he becomes Mark Brunel, then crawls home.
