REPORTER: Will the university have any future relationship with Maurice Clarett? GEIGER: Sure. If he wants to come back and start to school again, he'd be more than welcome, I'm sure. I don't know what his standing is academically right now because of work that wasn't completed, but I'm sure that could be worked out. At least I hope it would. Thank you all very much.

The song I think about when I read all this stuff is the classic "Ego Trippin'". Seriously. This is a kid who thinks he's bigger than what he is.

I give the same amount of respect to a student as I do a football player that works his butt off -- both of them are EXTREMELY hard in their own way. I give the same disdain to a genius who only does the minimum needed to get by as I do a football player who uses his physicals gifts only and refuses to learn how to pick up a blitz or throw a block. Mo C is a football player in the loosest sense of the word. If you seriously have issues with what went on at OSU, Mo, you'd be going to the NCAA and the police rather than ESPN.

No, I hope he turns into Bam Morris, Lawrence Phillips, Cecil Collins, and Todd Marinovich all in one. Big time bust, no future because he's dumber than a cord of wood.

June 22, 2008 (AP)-

An Ohio Federal Court Judge today handed down a 47 year prison sentence to Maurice Clarett. Clarett was found guilty of illegal weapons possesion, money laundering, and most damaging, possesion with the intent to sell. This was Clarett's second conviction in three years for intent to sell.
Clarett, a former Ohio State football player, has spent the past two years drifting among several Northeast Ohio homeless shelters.
Clarett will not be eligible for parole until 2031.

Sanctions?

WSCR radio Chicago has reported many ex-bucks confirm MC's story. The hosts are speculating that OSU will face certain sanctions...I hope this is just talk radio BS. DT needs to put out this fire right now...or true or fals the damage will be done...Thanx MC for nothing..

But.. aisle 9 is feminine products.. I think Mo would have the strength to at least mop up the veggies, because, hey, if a pumpkin or a watermelon falls.. do you know how much he benches? :slappy:

I got a PM from somebody asking if I knew anything (since I go to OSU and I'm boys with a couple of the players). Here's what I said:

"I see the allegations and I really am not that worried, I wouldn't be. I am friends with a few players on the team (one of them is one of Tress' biggest recruits) and I haven't seen anything that would make me worry. If Marco fucking Cooper was getting money, I think he would too, but he still lives in a dingy house about a block away from me with a few other guys and doesn't wear thousand dollar shoes or anything. He has a nice car, but it's something he's had since high school. With his status, I guarantee he'd be getting as much of the benefits as Mo and Cooper.."

I really don't see this as being a big issue.

Do these many have names? And it sounds like some of it is true. Tressel did try to help with a car, Geiger has explained that. The tutor, well, let's just say that if a tutor isn't trying to help you pass, I'm not sure why they're there. He doesn't go as far to say as this person wrote papers or took tests for him, so not sure what else to say.

Anyway, none of it matters, many radio hosts are confirming that WSCR Chicago radio hosts stuff gerbils.
