Getting to watch Ashcraft for the first time today. He's a hell of a pitcher. Tons of movement on his pitches. Love the Cutter- Sinker combo and he's getting it up there high 90s. If Lodolo gets unfucked, top 3 in the rotation could be stellar with a really decent closer out there also. The guys in between aren't very good so we need innings.

I really thought this season was going to be the worst since the 80s but I'm being entertained surprisingly enough.

I am imagining Abbott up and part of that rotation at some point this year.

Hitters at AAA are en fuego

We could be looking at anNL Central contender as early as next year.

What in the wide, wide world of sports is going on here?

McLain getting the call up. It may take a week or so but it appears the writing is on the wall for Newman or Barrero (hopefully both). They are actually interesting to me to watch again and now with the prospects coming up, even more so.

CES, EDLC and Abbott need to be up sooner than later to figure out what we've got. No one is running away with the NL Central. Construct your roster to win games this year and see what happens.
