I don't usually get too hung up on lineups but this is special.

Bell has...

4. Fairchild
5. Newman
6. Myers
7. Barrero

I don't care how bad the other pitcher is or what altitude they are playing at. That is 4 automatic outs stacked up right in the middle of the lineup.

Just when it starts to get better you are reminded of the idiot manager and the pure dreck on this roster.

To continue the semi-rant...next call up should be CES not EDLC because you can plug him into DH right this goddamn minute and not do any worse than what you have at DH on any given night while giving yourself a chance at (god fucking forbid...)improvement.

EDLC comes up when you figure out the positions so Gump Bell doesn't sit him 4 days a week.

I was thinking the same thing they could do with EDLC at DH on days he doesnt play the field and rotate whomever he changes places with. God knows we don't have any other OF or bench player that is hitting good enough to be a more full time DH

And Fraley is moved all the way down to 8th when he's been in the 2 and 3 hole. Fuck me this is moronic

Sit him or leave him would be the logical question but it's a getaway day special so whatever. Fairchild just ran into one for a groundrule double so it's officially a goofy fucking series.

Leave my office in Lancaster at 4:30 with the Reds up 5-0.

Arrive at the cigar lounge in Reynoldsburg an hour later to see the ESPN Bottomline ticker broadcast the Reds lost 11-6, in the span of less than an hour.

I will say one thing for the new rules in MLB, it only takes two hours and thirty-six minutes to see Cincinnati get jailsexed on the road out west instead of four hours now.

Matt MF' Mclain. Kid is a gem. All the tools except maybe big power. Enough to get it out at GABP though and that's what the Dr ordered for this team. 1st double just now at home and brings the tying run to the plate.

And The Viking brings em in. 3-2 Yanks bottom 6
