Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Maybe opt out again.

If he is going to put up a dogshit effort like that moving forward, he better. The whole team for the most part looked like crap, I would like to give the defense credit for improvement but Washington is so inept on offense I don't think we really can judge their performance. Sure, it is one preseason game and I don't care what the final result was, but we looked like shit tonight overall. The defense at least could have some promise I guess.

If the Bengals take Seibert over McPherson, I will lose my shit. I think this one is more glaringly obvious than the previous kicker competition.

I blanked on bringing that up, but I meant to say that a kicker might have been our best draft pick this year lol. But it does seem he's legit, might grab him late in my fantasy draft tomorrow. Actually seems like a legit talent.

I think a lot of last night’s struggles offensively in the pass game had to do with a really rough night from Allen. His timing and velocity seemed off. He wasn’t really trying to put much touch on his throws. That being said, Chase has to make those catches, and I’m sure it’s something he will absolutely look back on and improve quickly.

On a side note, despite the OL penalties, alot of guys graded out quite nicely last night.

I think Jordan is starting to feel that fire lit under his ass, which competition at those guard positions is a great thing. But I think adding Pollack and ditching Turner is clearly already showing in terms of blocking technique.

Ossai set to undergo possible season-ending knee surgery, per report

Joseph Ossai had a solid preseason debut, with five quarterback pressures as well as a sack of quarterback Tom Brady. Unfortunately for Ossai and the Bengals, that may be the final game for the rookie linebacker plays in 2021. Ossai is slated to undergo knee surgery for a meniscus injury that is feared to be season-ending, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Ossai felt the injury during the Bengals' preseason win over the Buccaneers.

Terrible news. Ossai was looking like a gem, and should be a force.

Interesting trade, Billy must not have shown what he needed to stay on the team. I was so excited when we picked him and am still just at a loss on how it didn't work out. From what I can tell, Hill is a run stuffer at DT and we can use all the help we can get in that department. Hopefully he can rotate in and contribute.

Can’t say any of these surprise me. Think Moss, Patrick, P. Williams, Bachie, Henderson, Chrisman, Jordan, Jones, Sutherland, and Vogel all go to practice squad if they aren’t claimed.

Happy for Mitchell Wilcox. Undrafted rookie FA from last year really performed well in the preseason and has good blocking ability.
