Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Bengals offense didn't do much, and the Ravens got a sack and seemed to get better pressure after Kappa left with the ankle injury. I forget when Collins was expected to return, but hopefully they can use this week of practice to get the Oline clicking again. Hoping Sample can play; his injury didn't look too bad.

I know it’s a cliche thing to say, but I honestly don’t think the Bengals were going to show the Ravens more than they needed to on film. The running game is what it is, but the passing game is a tough one to stop when it’s at its full potential. I look forward to sending the Ravens home next week, then the big ones start.

Collins is out at least 6 more months, best case scenario he can play Week 1 next year. And that brings me to Kappa, if he's out we're in trouble...that's the entire right side of the OL out. Adeniji can hold his own at RT. At RG, we have nobody. Carman is atrocious and then we have nobody. Spain is available, might need to give him a call, but fingers crossed Kappa is good to go next week or the week after. Can't afford to try and do what we did last year at OL. Particularly when anybody with a pulse can bull rush Jonah Williams into a sack on Burrow, secret has been out for awhile there...Williams is a liability in pass pro.

Obviously happy to win the AFC North and great season. But we have to get Kappa back in the playoffs or it's a problem. Who Dey!

The NFL ordered these signs taken down at Paycor Stadium, fan says

Bengals superfan Jim Foster says the NFL made fans at Paycor Stadium take down signs critical of Commissioner Roger Goodell during the Ravens game on Sunday.
Foster tweeted about the situation during the game.

He was adamant that the call came from the league offices in New York and that the stadium’s security personnel were not at fault.

“We think NY called and had our banner taken down,” Foster told FOX19. “The security folks were very nice to us. We are good. MOVING ON TO PLAYOFFS WITH NO COIN FLIP!”

He continued: “They were very nice about it. NFL directive.” And: “Don’t want to take away from this win.”

Bengals fans have good cause to be upset about the NFL’s rejiggered playoff scheme.

“It seems like there are positives for a lot of teams and just negatives for us,” Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor said Friday.

I love Pro Football but I hate the NFL.

Same. Why can't they put up a sign that expresses their opinion (one that I share)? Pathetic.

Anyways, on to the playoffs. Kind of hate having to play the Ravens twice in a row. We match up well against them, but would rather switch it up with someone else. Also not crazy about it being a Sunday night game, much bigger fan of day games for the playoffs.

Let everybody know the "coin toss" ruling sucks:

Mixon fined $13K for coin flip celebration
Chad Johnson vows to reimburse Mixon for the fine.

Bengals’ running back Joe Mixon is being fined $13,261 for his coin flip celebration during the Week 18 win against Baltimore, according to his tweet.

A report from ProFootballTalk says Mixon will appeal.

League rules prohibit players from using any kind of prop in touchdown celebrations.

Using any object as a prop, or possessing any foreign or extraneous object(s) that are not part of the uniform on the field or the sideline during the game, other than the football after a scoring play or change of possession.

Section 3, Article 1. Prohibited Acts.

First off, Ocho is a man of his word and that's awesome he's paying the fine like he said he would. Second off, fuck the NFL. Think about the perversion in fining Mixon for a celebration that points out the NFL won't follow its own rules except when money/ratings are at stake. Goddell is a weasly, good for nothing fat twat that needs replaced.

With that out of the way, Who to the fucking Dey baby, it's game day and let's go! We've got this.
