Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

Two other comments after watching the highlights: (1) Logan Wilson is off to a Pro Bowl season, he's playing better than any Cincy LB I can remember in my lifetime other than maybe that one season from Odell Thurman...maybe I am forgetting someone, but Wilson is playing out of his mind and made a leap from an already very good 2021 season...really the LBs in general are playing well, Pratt and AKD both are getting done and I have confidence in Bailey if he comes in; (2) Hurst seems to be coming into his own and finding his role...made some really huge plays out there and I think he will continue to get more looks with all the attention our WRs will get.

Last thing I’ll say tonight. Go with these black and white helmets as primaries. They are too clean.

Just sayin': For whatever reason, every time I see those black and white uniforms it reminds me of these guys:

Siegfried Fischbacher (June 13, 1939 – January 13, 2021)

Roy Horn (born Uwe Ludwig Horn; October 3, 1944 – May 8, 2020)

<snip>All white unis were as sick as could be and I would just keep them moving forward, or at least the helmets.
I'd love to pick up one of those for myself - #9, 2, 85, 1, 55, 91, 94, lots of great numbers to choose but not for $100 and that is with the 'savenfl' discount code! No way man. I don't know if they are made in USA (doubt it) and that makes them so expensive, but I can't stomach paying anywhere near that much for a shirt. I am shocked and disappointed. The 70's and 80's are a distant memory.

Especially like a long rest period before Baltimore, who has to face a pissed off Bills team on Sunday. Despite a bad start, we can salvage this with some focus.
I see Josh Allen mercilessly shredding that Ravens secondary. Tua threw for 483 against them.

I got a #1 Chase one the day they came out, but Fan's Edge had a sale going and I think it ended up $80 with shipping and tax...as expensive as things have got, I thought that was a pretty decent deal for a licensed jersey and it is very high quality. A lot of those discount ones are cheap looking and/or don't fit right many times. Wish I would have also got a #55 or #94, I am loving Wilson and Hubbard on our defense.

Agreed on the Bills shredding the Ravens, their secondary is weak. Hoping they not only wear them down for us, but beat them and give us a chance to jockey into first place in the AFC North. Division is definitely down this year and the ticket to the playoffs may be through a division title rather than a wild card spot...too early to tell, but that is my early read.

As bad as the start of the Bengal's season was losing their 1st 2 games. They are now in a 1st place tie in the AFC North. Just goes to show you how bad the Browns, Steelers, and Ravens are. Although the Ravens did lose very close games to 2 real good teams; and next Sunday night it is Cincinnati (2-2) at Baltimore (2-2).

I said when we started 0-2 that the saving grace is that the AFC North this year is down and we might have a shot because of that. I still think there will only be 1 team from the division that makes the playoffs, so the remaining divisional games are very important. Given the state of affairs, next Sunday against Baltimore is incredibly important...really hoping we can get the W.

Big one against Baltimore in the SNF game coming up...at Baltimore and hopefully we keep improving, because I see Baltimore as the other threat in the division. Baltimore has started strong every game and has either almost lost or lost at the end giving up a big comeback, whereas we have started slow every game but one, so I wouldn't get to disheartened if we are down a couple scores in the first half. But it would be a huge win, Cleveland has the Chargers and I see the Chargers handling them, and now Pitt is 1-3...so I see us at the the top of the AFC North if we can pull this one off...big IF, but the opportunity is there.

The pass happy approach seems to have taken over as the extension from the running game. Just letting Joey Buckets deal cards on early downs.

At some point, CIN is going to have to find an actual running game somewhere and somehow.
