I love the kiss our ring mic drop at the end. While he's undoubtedly referencing the NC, it can be interpreted in so much of a larger sense.

The article he's referencing goes over a few reasons that Cincinnati fans don't like Ohio State, and it talks about how "Ohio State won't play UC in basketball, and refused to in football for a long time." I can't speak for basketball, because I care very little for basketball. (Sorry - I try to get interested in Buckeye basketball, and I saw the last minute of last night's game, but I don't get into it much.) But in football, Ohio State didn't play ANY in-state team for over 250 years (ok - exaggeration font isn't working). And since 199X when Ohio State started playing in-state opponents, I'd be confident in a bet that Ohio State has played Cincinnati more times than any other in-state opponent. I think I saw somewhere that since 1998 or 2000 or something, Ohio State has played Cincinnati more times than any other out-of-conference team, except San Diego State, and that was before the 2014 season, so I think the two teams are tied for most. This "won't play Cincinnati" thing is full of Mark May's Mark May. What do they want? An annual rivalry thing? Tell them to go pumpkin some Mark May.

Edit - according to my figurin', Ohio State has played UC 5 times since 1992. Ohio State has played BG 4 times, and YSU 2 times. Ohio, Akron, Kent State, Toledo, and Miami are all 3 times. So why does UC think they're more special than any of those other teams?

Because they are "Ohio's BCS School" and think they are something different and better than your run of the mill Fredo or Beavis. Their mongolo juggalo fans truly do believe that their penny-ante, saved from bankruptcy school is worthy of an annual home-and-home rivalry game. The reality is that they ARE Fredo and Beavis who had a brief stint in a doomed conference before scurrying back under the mid-major rock from which they briefly crawled out. However, those days are long gone, and juggalo state needs to read the writing on their contract.

For the very small timeframe in which they were in the Big East ... and only after the BE lost so many members that they had to reach out to a school like Cinci... maybe there was a point there.
But it's evident that was just a blip in the matrix. Cinci is a mid-major no different than the rest of the MAC.
