Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

Like Isiah Pead?? I guess to clarify, we never really offered. But there was some interest. He chose Cincy, and then said in an interview he chose to go to Cincinnati because of their system, implying he could have gone to tOSU....which wasn't the truth. But some Cincy fans claim he chose Cincy over the Bucks.

It's like the Fredoites saying that Toothlessburger chose Fredo of Ohio over Ohio State. Cooper offered him a scholarship to play safety. Fredo promised him he could be a quarterback. Big difference.

We bearcat fans simply want the nation (don't really care about those in cbus) to know that we are the best team in the state; we deserve some respect...

Mount Union would whip your ass like a red headed step child.

LOL The funny thing is that was the first thought that went through my mind as well. True story!

I like UC. I like all Ohio teams. I like Ohio State better. But all in all, I want all Ohio teams to do well. But when people wear the bUCkeye country shirts, and the other crap that is obviously meant to taunt Ohio State (with no way of retaliation), it makes me want to root against Cincinnati.

Then I remember that those fans are just bandwagon fans anyway, and will be gone soon. So I go back to rooting for Cincinnati. I hope they beat Pittsburgh and then win whatever bowl game they're in.

So, the best OCC win by a Big Ten team ..... Arizona!!!!!! Wow, I guess that's good. As I said, the Big East isn't much better, but it's just as good. UC beat Oregon St on the road (first time since '96 a non conf opponent won at ORESU). OreSU is playing to go to the Rose Bowl. NO BIG Ten OCC win is even being considered for a BCS game... There IS NO OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE THAT THE BIG TEN IS BETTER THAN THE BIG EAST, NONE.... I hope and pray the Beavers go to the Rose Bowl and spank tOSU

talk, talk, talk. You guys talk about ORDBuckeye as if he is classless and then you come over here with this "whistling in the dark" smack talk.

Here is a fact:Arguably the worst team in the Big Ten took your team to the final five minutes before the game was decided and had one of its best games of the year offensively in your house.

Had Illinois special teams not had a meltdown, they probably would have beat your team. Let's keep this in perspective. We're talking about a team that could not score a point against Ohio State.

You guys have a good offense and no defense. Your claims are untestable but geez, I wish somehow these teams could play.

By the way, I hope you guys keep it up because by the time you play Ohio State, so much of this water will have gone over the dam that Tressel probably won't call off the dogs. 2012 is likely to be a rebuildiing year for Ohio State so there is an upside. Your team probably will stay within 21 points.

I'll take a 3 point win over UConn and WVU over a loss to Purdue... But NO Reasonable Bearcat fan says the tradition at UC is better than OSU; obviously, it's not even close.. We bearcat fans simply want the nation (don't really care about those in cbus) to know that we are the best team in the state; we deserve some respect. Sure, the Big East isn't the best conference, but it is every bit as good as the big ten.. NO BIG TEAM HAS A SIGNATURE WIN, NOT ONE! The only reason big tens team are ranked high is because they beat another big ten that was already ranked high who beat no one...
Penn State's best OOC win: Temple
OSU best OOC win: Navy
Iowa best OOC win: Arizona
Wisconsin best OCC win: N. Illinoins
Nortwestern best OOC win: Syrac... O, no, they lost that one, Uh E. Michigan
Mich St. best OCC win: W Michigan
Illinois best OCC win: Illinois State
Michigan best OCC win: Notre Dame
Indiana best OCC win: Akron (lost 47 -7 to virgina, really?)
Purdue best OCC win: Toledo
Minnesota best OCC win: Air Force

I pray you come back after your kitties get spanked in their BCS game...if you get by the Wannstache.

A pair of good seasons and instead of enjoying them, you all (and your university) decide to continuously poke the giant to your north with a stick. Green is not a good color on kitties, son. :slappy:

I find the "Buckeye State" T-shirts amusing. Why any UC fan would want a T-Shirt with the word Buckeye in it is beyond me.

I'll just have to get me a "Bearcat Killaz" shirt in 2012.

I'm just shocked that people in the 'Nati are actually willing wear gear that implies that they're part of Ohio (no offense intended to H & G another rational Cincy folks).

I also just wanted to point out that Arizona (the big ten's best OOC win) beat Oregon State (the Big least's besst OOC win) in Corvalis.

So in other words, don't rip on Iowa for beating Arizona, when Arizona is every bit as good as Oregon State.

Sooo.... is Purdue every bit as good as OSU, or is it one game OSU happened to lose, even though everyone knows - including me- that OSU is better.. I think OreSU is better than Arizona and it was one game.. just like OSU-Purdue

I guess the BCS rankings aren't objective.

OSU 8
Iowa 9
PSU 11

UC 5
Pitt 15
WVU 23

UC had a great win at Oregon State. Other than that, what has the Big East proved as a whole. USF beat Florida State which seemed like a big win at the time....but FSU stinx.

See you in 2012. FYI-you should check out the main college football page on ESPN right now.

Yes, the BCS rankings are not objective.. that is my point... NONE of those Big ten teams beat better teams than the Big East teams OUT OF CONFERENCE.. The BIG10 had higher initial rankings, which is the only reason they are ranked higher... THat is NOOOT objective evidence;indeed, it is the fact that voters voted Big 10 higher that got them there... THATS MY POINt

Your post focuses on OOC games, I notice. For good reason if you're a UC fan, I guess:

UC's best wins: #16 Oregon St., #23 WVU
OSU's best wins: #9 Penn St., #10 Iowa

WHY, o, WHY can you not grasp the point!

Iowa and Penn St. were ranked that high BASED ON NOTHING OTHER THAN VOTER PREFERNCE, NOT EVIDENCE!! THEY ALL BEAT OTHER BIG TEN TEAMS THAT HADN'T BEATEN ANY GOOD OUT OF CONFERENCE TEAM!

Not one solid OOC win by the big ten... And, again, I'm not saying the BIg east is much better, but it is every bit AS good, and there is no reason BIg 10 teams should be ranked ahead of Big East

Wait, wait, wait. You're saying initial rankings are the reason the Big Ten teams are ranked higher? First off, you're wrong. At one point, quite recently in fact (ahem, last week), Pitt was ranked ahead of both tOSU and Iowa. WVU doesn't even enter into this argument because they didn't beat anybody worth a damn until Pitt. UC has been higher than tOSU and Iowa since early in the season. PSU has been slowly working their way back up since dropping after losing to tOSU. Your "initial rankings" argument is complete garbage.

As for "voter preference"...give me a break. TAKE IT TO THE E!SPN BOARDS AND WHINE ABOUT IT WITH ALL THE OTHER SISTERS OF THE POOR. I CAN TYPE IN ALL CAPS TOO.

Glad you stopped by. Do you know a guy named Trace? He was a UC fan that used to post here. We haven't heard from him in a while: You wouldn't happen to know how he's doing, would you?
