Wow, a win-win. Kelly's personality will cause problems at ND and he won't come even close to accomplishing there what he did at Cincy, and Cincy will fade back into mediocrity. Good stuff.

Funny, one would think that the "best team in Ohio" wouldn't have its coach up and leave for greener pastures.

Anyway, I think Cincy should consider Solich as a replacement.

I'm reading the coaching search thread over there right now... Those dumbasses don't even want Sumlin because they say he doesn't have experience recruiting in the midwest. :rofl: ...As if UC has been pulling in better than under-the-radar guys, leftovers, JUCOs, transfers and academic challenges for all these years, and some guy from Texas would come in and ruin all of that.

Hint, bozos: whoever comes in will probably keep Coombs on staff and all of your recruiting relationships will remain pretty much intact. I really don't see him going to ND - he's a Cincinnati lifer.
