Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

After I looked at some of it again, if Ridder was better passing they would have made that a hell of a game. He missed a lot of open guys and those batted down balls were ridiculous. Ford going down for a quarter hurt also because they were getting chunks on them. The lines for UC were the weakest links by far but they still made some plays.

RE: Yearly Article About Athletic Spending

The naysayers will always be with us, especially a few disgruntled faculty members.

To my way of thinking, much of this has been an "investment phase" in athletics ramping us up to Big 12 membership that will take our athletic program, and our university, to an entirely new level. It's so much more than just the substantial bump in TV and bowl revenue. It's the "major leagues" of collegiate athletics where our previous stay in the BCS 6 was all too brief. This platform will create exceptional opportunity with conference mates such as Kansas, Baylor, Iowa State and others that are both respected schools and big brands. I can't wait to see that first football schedule. And basketball too for that matter.

How CBS Sports, ESPN, USA TODAY project the UC Bearcats to fare next season

ESPN has University of Cincinnati ranked No. 19

Cincinnati might take a step back next season, but it'll still be a contender for an AAC title. The Bearcats play at Arkansas and host Indiana next season.

CBS has the University of Cincinnati Bearcats ranked No. 23

The losses are massive (Desmond Ridder, Jerome Ford, Ahmad Gardner, Coby Bryant for starters) but the Bearcats won't go from 13-1 to irrelevant. Luke Fickell is building the dominant program in, perhaps, two conferences.

USA TODAY has the University of Cincinnati Bearcats unranked

The torch in the American Athletic, at least temporarily, will be passed to the Cougars this season after Cincinnati takes a step back in 2022.

Unfortunately for Luke Finkell the Juggalos aren't an "elite" program. They aren't able to just "reload", they have to "rebuild".

Well these days, who's elite?

You can draw the line where ever you want; however, I'll say the top 5 or 6 from the list below:

Most wins in the College Football Playoff:
SCHOOL.. GAMES.. RECORD.. TITLES WON
Alabama ........13....... 9-4........ 3 (2015, 2017, 2020)
Clemson ........10....... 6-4........ 2 (2016, 2018)
Ohio State...... 6 ........3-3........ 1 (2014)
Oklahoma....... 4........ 0-4........ 0
Georgia.......... 4........ 3-1........ 1 (2021)
LSU ...............2........ 2-0........ 1 (2019)
Notre Dame.....2........ 0-2........ 0
Oregon........... 2....... 1-1......... 0
Cincinnati....... 1........ 0-1........ 0
Florida State....1 ........0-1........ 0
Michigan......... 1........ 0-1........ 0
Michigan State. 1........ 0-1........ 0
Washington .....1........ 0-1 ........0
