Cincinnati Bearcats (Juggalos official thread of Faygo)

I don't know what "like-minded" really means, but Cincinnati has historical ties with Ga. Tech, Louisville, Va. Tech, and FSU, who were all members of the Metro Conference. There's also some history with former Big East members Pitt and Syracuse. So from that standpoint, I think there is a perception that the ACC would provide more familiar conference rivals than the Big 12.

They've gone full juggalo now. The new B12 will be the better conference for football and basketball than the ACC, though the ACC "has more like-minded institutions." Now, I know you're thinking, "sure Louisville and Florida State," but these clowns mean Pitt and UNC.

"more like-minded institutions"

You mean schools that put a lot of thought into convenient parking solutions for their many commuter students? That kind of like-minded?

UCF, Cincinnati rivalry has grown from seeds of success planted early on

For UCF and Cincinnati, it was a rivalry fueled on a dark and stormy night in 2017.

The 25th-ranked Knights jumped out to a commanding 51-23 lead as McKenzie Milton carved up the Bearcats’ defense for 374 yards and five touchdowns through the first three quarters before torrential rain pounded Nippert Stadium, sending the teams to the locker room and the fans scurrying for cover.

The game was called after an hour and seven-minute delay and UCF was awarded the victory.

The Knights would go on to win their first of back-to-back American Athletic Conference titles and claim a perfect season with a monumental win over Auburn in the Peach Bowl. Cincinnati finished with its second straight losing season at 4-8.

Since 2017, Cincinnati (36-6) and UCF (31-10) have combined to win two conference championships and two appearances in New Year’s Six access bowls.

“You can’t forget those guys were here five years ago and what that looked like on that night and how far we’ve had to come,” said UC coach Luke Fickell. “More than anything, it’s just respect. Respect for who they are and what they’ve done over the past four years.

“UCF has always been a big rivalry for us,” said Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder.

No. 3 Cincinnati (5-0, 1-0 AAC) hosts UCF (3-2, 1-1 AAC) for the seventh time on Saturday with the Bearcats hoping to make it three straight wins against the Knights.

RE: CBS Article - Cincinnati charging into playoff picture

(Yesterday 05:21 PM)rath v2.0 Wrote: “As such, Fickell may not be long for the program that gave him his shot at redemption.“

Even threw in that he’s represented by super agent Jimmy Sexton who basically controls any big job search. They just can’t resist...it’s like there is a template.

Where is he going to other than the very elite programs or the NFL. Seriously the list of programs better than UC is basically the top 5 percent of the sport. To be honest I am not sure Michigan State and Tennessee are the step up they were for Mark Dantonio or Butch Jones. Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State would qualify.

This isn’t the same old UC. For some it’s hard to realize that the 30 plus year of investing in athletics has lead to this.

There are 130 FBS schools, so five percent is 6.5. Let's be generous and round it up to seven. Juggalo is saying that juggalo is a better job than all but 7 programs in college football. There are seven better jobs in either the Big Ten or SEC! alone.
