So fUCLA has won an outright or share of the Pac 10 championship 3 times in 20 years and that's a pattern?
Uhhh ok, sure thing.

Since when? It's been USC and then Oregon, Cal, Oregon State in some order.

Well, since 1959:

I think I see a pattern there.

You and I remember the era when it was Ohio State vs. TSUN followed by USC vs. UCLA on the same day and for all of the marbles. Those days are now long gone.
If by settle this, you mean make stuff up in contrast to the results, then I guess it's settledcincibuck;1567922; said:OK, let's settle on this: the Pac 10 for the last decade has been USC and the only other school likely to challenge for a sustained period of time is UCLA. The northern Cal schools are too mental and the suicide inducing winters of the Pac Northwest (I know, I was stationed at Ft. Lewis) make it hard for anything north of Santa Barbara to compete.

Doesn't matter too much, though, since the rest of UC's schedule is only marginally less terrible than Boise's (UC's future opponents are currently 14-15, and Boise's are 14-22). If UC doesn't win out, I'd be shocked. They play virtually no one of note (unlike last year, where they had the guts to play Choklahoma and got raped for their trouble).
It's irritating listening to the USF-UC broadcasters try to castigate OSU for not playing UC this year. They act like OSU is dodging UC; why bother? OSU is 6-0 against these chumps, including 4-0 in the past 10 years with an average margin of victory of more than 14 points. Playing UC, statistically, is the same as padding the schedule with Toledo or lower bumble[censored] state. So sure, UC fans, thump your chest and holler; the next time OSU needs to bring a patsy in to fill our nice, big stadium, maybe we'll do you the honor of handing out $600k in exchange for letting us kick your sorry asses all over the field.
