Cincinnati 49, Illinois 36 (final)

no, that's not what I'm saying. But he did refer to UC fans as doUChebags (which, kinda makes me a douchebag in his opinion, I guess) and I stated that if he shows up in the UC section and starts calling them johnny come-lately douchbags, you kinda have to expect the treatment would not go so well...

I do not condone the actions of the UC students/fans who are abusive in any way towards anybody...but if the attitude is to start running your mouth...well, you know where that leads.

Exactly...it leads to a historically insignificant program from the hood to set itself up for major FAIL when their latest savior coach leaves.

with that attitude, how could you not get pushed down ten rows? Stay classy. :(

Hey, I'm not there to cause a ruckus or start shit. I'm there to watch a football game. If people want to start shit with me because of the shirt that I wear (as I've been warned would happen), then what I called them is exactly what they are.

For the record, I hold Buckeye fans/students who earn a similar rep among guests at the 'Shoe in the same regard.

give me a fucking break, I have heard from multiple people I know from Cincinnati that Ohio State fans are being physically assaulted for doing nothing more than wearing Ohio State gear, but an Ohio State fan is the one that is classless for calling Cincinnati fans names

I respect you for defending your home town team, but you constantly acting like Cincinnati fans are just getting bullied by big bad Ohio State really gets fucking old

Now I'm going to tell you something I've kept to myself for years. None of you ever knew Ron Zook. He was long before your time, but you all know what a tradition he is at Ill-i-noise. And the last thing he said to me, "Rock," he said, "sometime when the team is up against it and the breaks are beating the boys, tell them to go out there with all they've got and win just one for the Zooker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock," he said, "but I'll know about it and I'll be happy."

really? because I've worn OSU shirts to UC games and have never had a problem.
What gets fucking old is big brother crying and acting like a hard ass when little brother puts together a nice season. If little brother is nothing more than that, why not let it go?

If you've actually read any of my posts you'll find that on more than one occassion I have been critical of the way UC fans are acting. I've written letters to the athletic department and I've contacted the UCats and alumni association stating my donations will be non-existent next year because of the 'bUCkeye State' shirts...

it it gets so old to you that I defend my alma mater, I suggest you stop fucking reading my posts. :)

If "little brother's" fans didn't get so chippy and talk so much trash, there would be no issue. I don't recall tOSU fans having much trouble with Miami fans when they had a good run a few years back. The inferiority complex is sickening.

If you're critical of the way UC fans act, you know why OSU fans aren't happy with them and talk shit about them. And you also know that this shit is directed at the fans who talk shit and act like douchebags. Not you. But you keep taking offense to this stuff.

I remember when I rooted for UC, just because I had no reason not to. Never had a problem with UC, had some friends who went there. Some of their fans have ruined that for me. Funny part is that they weren't fans a few years back. Now that they have a reason to like something other than OSU, they're all over it. They want to be different. It's like many scUM fans in Columbus. The ones who walk around on Saturdays wearing nothing but maize & blue, and come into the Buckeye store with this smirk on their face like "Yeah, I'm wearing Michigan stuff in a Buckeye store - I'm fucking awesome." Those are the ones who ruined it for me. There are now people like that who root for UC.

Not you. Unless you're that guy.

Numby, this might be your best post ever.

It's the "pay attention to me" syndrome. Raiders fans in Newark Ohio, Michigan fans in Ohio, BN27 being a Buckeye football fan and Syracuse basketball fan in PA.:p Some people just love conflict, and rooting for the "anti-tOSU" is one way of stirring up shit.

I was trying to explain to my kids why there are M*ch*gan fans in Ohio and what they are like the other day. Damn I wish I had this to show them then.

All I managed to say was "they are just fucking dickheads who want to be different".

My advice to you is to "shank up." I prefer a rusty bedspring. Other good options include a shard of glass wrapped in a piece of pillowcase (remember to break off the glass after shanking) or the sharpened handle of a toothbrush dipped in feces.

UC fan understands the way of the shank and will respect you for coming prepared.
