Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

Is there any other individual coach (not program or team) in college football that it is easier to root against...to root for their abject failure and national humiliation...than Charlie Weis? For me, it's not even close. Not Saban or Kiffin or Barry Switzer in his heyday. Weis is just a despicable human being!

HMMM, Ord coach hate rankings.
1.Weis,
2. Saban,
3. Kiffin,
4. Switzer.

Yours truly is rising up on the ORD ladder of respect.

Sorry, Brady. Your whole Ohio schtick is annoying mainly through its numbing repetition and that every Wal-Mart Wolverine deems it a credit to his cleverness to now parrot it, but that's about it. I haven't seen any info that you treat your players, assistant coaches or university's students with arrogance and thin-skinned bullying or any other of fat bastard's personality disorders.

Coaches that I hope fail in order would be:

Weis
Kelly
Saban
Kiffin
Bienema (you're not even tops in the BIG, and at the rate the angry corntard is going, you're probably 3rd)

So what happens to the individuals who thought it was a great idea to hire this turd?

They get lauded for hiring an even worse human being.

Oh wait...you meant Kansas, not ND.

As an aside: Dr Saturday, like far too many folks with journalism degrees, doesn't seem to have any clue what the 1st Amendment actually says.

Well, basically, it'll go away as soon as Urban gets a few wins against them.

Doubt it goes away until he does. Urban starts running off a string against them though, and it will turn from annoying into pathetic.

I long for the day that Urban has the horses to go all Muhummad Ali "Say My Name!" on their asses.

One of the more interesting things about tellin' the Seniors to take the day off and run/lift is that several seniors at Notre Dame (Guys that Weis originally recruited) left to play for Weis. I'm not sure if thats a result of the fact none of them were starters at their current positions at Notre Dame, or they actually enjoyed playing for Weis. Either way, the whole thing has to be a kick to the gut for them.

So...Weis is trying to buy some time here. He sees the rest of the schedule, sees loses in almost all those scenarios, and figures he's better off preparing for next year now. He already knows from the past that this isn't going to translate to any wins for the present, he figures they're screwed either way. He did the same thing in 2007 at Notre Dame, gutting the entire offense having to replace Quinn with Clausen and he injected many other underclassmen starters. That fiasco resulted in a 3-9 season. So, he's hoping that taking the lumps this year will afford him more time to keep his job and maybe win more games in the next two years.

Going to throw out the obvious: Charlie couldn't win with the 4 and 5 star players he was able to draw to Notre Dame, he couldn't win with Urban Meyer's leftovers in Florida, but Kansas thinks he'll be able to win with the 2 and 3 star recruits he'll convince to head to Kansas.

I'm expecting hilarity to ensue.

Going to bump myself, even though everyone saw this coming.

And you can do that quietly with reps in practice, team meetings and minutes in games. Weis is doing it in as public a manner as possible. He's humiliating the kids and placing the blame for everything on their shoulders while at the same time attempting to insulate himself.

That's not the actions of a leader. That's not the actions of a fucking man. At least not the kind that I could respect in any way. Domers ignored it--or I should say, pretended not to see it--when he did it at Notre Dame, but that is why the rest of college football hated and mocked him....not because he's fat or arrogant or self-parodying. Those things just added the icing to the cake.
