Charlie Weis (ex-Kansas HC, ex-Fla OC, Notre Dame legend, UnDecided Schematic Advantage)

Yeah, speaking of spygate, I'm not entirely sure that he ever earned his NFL rep. This guy just seems like a career huckster; he gets jobs by telling people he's competent, not by showing them that he's competent.

The Bernie Madoff of coaching? He's going to walk out of ND with a minimum of $10 M in guaranteed but out funds and at the end of a bear market. SOB is set for life and I'm personally joyfull for all he's done for Notre Dame.

Whoever is starting in Buffalo this week
Matt Cassell
Chicago (Jay Cutler is a turd)
Denver (Kyle Orton is an even bigger turd)
Both Kurt Warner and Brett Farve are in their 40s and their backups are questionable at best
Matt Hasselback is ok when he's healthy, but he's never healthy and he's in his mid-30s now.
JaMarcus Russell
Jake Delhomme
St. Louis and whoever is starting for Marc Bulger this week

The only two guys (not counting Farve and Warner) who have been effective in the past have been Delhomme and to an extent Garrard, but Garrard needs his running game to work or he's JaMarcus Russell without the extra 150lbs.

Out of the pro prospects, The Golden Emu is a clear 3rd behind Bradford and McCoy, but that might get him into the 1st round. Just saying.
Find me a year where you couldn't list that may below average QB's. There are 20 starting QB's right now with completion percentages of over 60% and a QB rating of over 81, that's never happened before.

He actually might be the worst coach in FBS football, or whatever it's called. No coach has done less with that much. None. He is literally incapable of beating a team unless he has a ridiculous talent advantage, and then it's a toss-up.

For a moment I thought you were refering to RR then I remembered that UM beat NoD!

Some of those guys aren't below-average (Farve, Warner, Hasselback), but they have quite a few miles on the tires. One of them (DelHomme) is experiencing a possible career ending meltdown and there are several teams that will be looking to go in a different direction/plan for the future with this draft.

That's the point. A guy like Clausen is virtually guaranteed to be drafted on the first day if he comes out and likely in the 1st round if he has a good combine.

I don't know if this thread is the correct place for this... but here goes.

I paid pretty close attention to Golden Tate last night and he is a terrible route runner. Most of the time he makes no attempt to throttle down, no attempt to drop his shoulders or stick, and he just rounds the route off. He could be a top 15 talent, but its his route running ability thats going to hold him back IMO.

There's a lot of talk about various players in here and NFL QBs. Seems like this is a good place to remind everyone that this thread is about some fat bastard named Charlie Weis who provides his team with a decided schematic advantage each and every week. Let's keep the commentary on this solid chunk of a man.
