No, this program was on the downturn long before Ty showed up, he just didn't do anything to help the situation, made it worse than it had been. Charlie has done two things: Win a bowl game, however weak it was, and brought in recruits which have yet to live up to potential under his guidance. Essentially, he has nothing to brag about. People thought this year was do or die, I don't know what next year is.
