There's a new sheriff in Austin:

LSU Freek has done it again. In response to Charlie Strong reportedly being hired as the head coach at Texas, Freek created a hilarious GIF of Strong riding into town like the sheriff in the great scene from “Blazing Saddles.” The town of Texas fans were expecting Jim Harbaugh, yet somehow they ended up with Strong.

I'd have complete faith in CCS - it's going to be a rough year this year, and not too fun next year but the cleansing of a program in the current state they are in is necessary.

The guy can recruit; he's going to have a fast aggressive defense and a strong run game. He will be successful.

Does he have that long though? I have little faith in Texas boosters. If I was an AD at an Iowa or Minnesota, this would be on my radar. If/when they drop him, he'd be a great pick up... and at the kind of cut-rate prices that B1G journeyman schools love.

I think he's a good coach, but just looking like Virgil from WWF doesn't make a man a BAMF.
