I told the wife over the weekend that I was just happy to finally get the Clemson monkey off our backs and everything else is just gravy. I knew I was lying when I said it.
I felt the same way about Bama in 2014, but the closer it got to the game against Oregon the worse I wanted it for that team.
Go get the Natty boys!

Maybe better suited for the rumor mill, but since it's a publicly available rumor, Dan Patrick is claiming via anonymous source that OSU is close to falling below the minimum required number of players available for Monday.

Which Letterman row posted quickly afterwards that it would make no sense for that being true due to practice being ongoing and the woody being open.

I agree. If this were true we would've shut down operations by now.

I have all the respect in the world for this Bama offense. It is a great group. But LSU had an all time season from Burrow and 3 1st round WRs, with the #2 option being the 2020 OROY. Devonta Smith and Harris are the only 2 skill players players that would've been in the top rotation. Waddle is great, but he would've been relegated to #5 WR and a special teams wizard.

I wouldn't have any hope of stopping last year's LSU due to Burrow and the options he had. This year it might be possible if you get Jones off his game early and make it hard on Harris.

I seriously doubt they're actually broken. They're probably just badly bruised, which often passes as such on most people believe it or not.

One of the toughest guys I've ever known broke 3 of them once in a motorcycle accident and Justin didn't move about anything like him. Justin looked very well by comparison. IMO, there's no way he'd be able to launch that ball as he did with ribs that were actually fractured.
