CFP Playoff Committee justs makes s#!t up

Way to move those goalposts.

what am I moving?

undefeated Power 5 has always gotten in. always!

UCF was not a Power 5 the year they went unbeaten, so they did not get the uproar that FSU is getting.

and as far as the Cincy/USF thing it has also always been understood that while a group of 5 could get in, it wasn't anywhere near guaranteed because they are treated differently than Power 5 teams.
Always have. We just changed the names of the 2 groups a few times over the years. BCS/Non-BCS, etc.

The year Cincy went unbeaten they were fortunate enough that there wasn't a 4th Power 5 team within even 1 game of them. That gave them enough of a cushion to sneak into the last spot.

this is the way it has always worked.
until this year.

Hence the uproar.

did I miss the part where UCF was a Power 5 conference champ?

You seem to be intentionally missing the part where where there is a big 2 and lesser 3 divide inside the “P5”

There is no rule guaranteeing anything for winning a conference (or any other automatic rules for that matter) so if anyone is frustrated/outraged then they really aren’t paying attention to the reality of it.

Ok well it is what it is man.

Let’s thank Woody and General Sherman in heaven our two teams are on the inside and leave the rabble to their fate.

The world needs ditch diggers too.
Sherman helped found the Louisiana State University

"Louisiana State University Agricultural & Mechanical College had its origin in several land grants made by the United States government in 1806, 1811, and 1827 for use as a seminary of learning. It was founded as a military academy and is still today steeped in military tradition, giving rise to the school's nickname "The Ole War Skule". In 1853, the Louisiana General Assembly established the Seminary of Learning of the State of Louisiana near Pineville in Rapides Parish in Central Louisiana. Modeled initially after Virginia Military Institute, the institution opened with five professors and nineteen cadets on January 2, 1860, with Major, later Colonel, William Tecumseh Sherman as superintendent.
