They also need the dog mentality to go with it. I’ve liked DI since I saw the video of him back home in Jersey, and then I watched more of his Ole Miss film. He’s an aggressive alpha style CB who attacks the ball and doesn’t want to lose 1 rep. He reminds of Jalen Ramsey in how he uses the mental aspect of the game as much as the physical

He’s going to be really good for this defense! He’s very aggressive, but has a nasty attitude that this defense has needed.

That and the flagrant PI. He was not in bad position and didn't need to resort to basically tackling that WR. But those are mental errors that are fixable, it appears the talent and aggressiveness we sorely need at CB are there.

Ironically his brother is at Rutgers and almost got kicked out at the start of the game for targeting as well. Can only imagine the battles for the remote or the front seat growing up

Exactly. We need some absolute dogs out there now that will get in someone’s face and lay the wood. If it comes with an occasional flag for unsportsmanlike, so be it. We’ve complained and been burned by the softness for far too long.
Wasn’t expecting Igbignosun to look as polished and fluid in the system that quick. Tied for 3rd in tackles and was a distruptor.
