I don't see that. On the road, we are not getting the calls. Teams play the Cavs much more physical on defense, making it difficult to get a good look. They play physical because they can. At our place, we get those borderline foul calls, which makes it ten times easier for guys like Lebron and Larry to drive to hole and get to the free throw line.

This team knows that it has struggled on the road the past few years. It didn't go into Indiana lackidasical. That was a big game and they knew it. San Antonio was a big game and they knew it. And it's not the hyping up the crowd does. I've been to a shitload of Cavs games the last couple of years (11-0 in games I went to last year), and I can tell you that the crowd gets the most excited when its free lottery ticket or free t-shirt time.

I've considered this issue so many times. How could the Cavs be so darn good at home, and so darn mediocre on the road? It's the officiating. Of this much, I am certain.

Not sure if anyone is watching the game right now, but that was one bad ass run to finish the 3rd quarter, they were down by 14 and they cut it to 2. They made 3 straight 3's on consecutive possessions, 1 by Jones and 2 by Marshall.

Man that is what a playoff team is suppossed to be able to do, I know this game is along way from over, but that was very impressive.

By the way the Cavs have guys that can shoot this year, so they better stop doubling James or he is going to find hte open man, then when the don't double him he will take them to the rack or step back and make the 3 himself.

Let's Go Cavs, beat their ass in the 4th. Will be back after the game.

What we learned:

1) Home field advantage for the Sonics, they got almost any call, it was getting ridiculous. Ass raping the Cav with the ball is not only allowed, but encouraged.

2) We cant play perimeter defense worth shit, we allow the highest opposing 3 point average in the league.

3) We cant play defense in the paint either, how many times this year have we seen our defender run the opposite direction whenever the opposing player with the ball even thinks about looking to his right or left, thus, leaving him open for a wide open shot/lay-up.

4) Can we give anymore cushion on the opposing player that has the ball at the 3-point line, he can tie his shoes and pump fake 238723 times and still get the shot off before we get a hand in his face.

Bottomline is that this game was ridiculous. We are god awful at defense and thats why we are not a great team.

Someone needs to explain to Lebron James that Jordan didn't go anywhere in the playoffs until he became an All-NBA "DEFENSIVE" player.

James has superior athletic ability to everyone in the league. With good-coaching (Mike Brown) and strong work ethic, he should be one of the best defenders in the league. It's the work ethic I am questioning right now.

That's right. I said it. I question Lebron's heart.

Wow, some of you guys are being pretty harsh, we went toe to toe with Seattle at thier place when we were getting fucked by the calls, we always struggle in LA and we did last nite.

I do think our defense lacks, but it has been getting better, last nite we played good enough defense to win if we just make shots, we couldnt find the fuckin' net.

As for the seattle game, I know Jones was lighting it up and hitting those 3 pointers but when he was asked to play the murray guy on D he lit him up.

At that point I would really like to see this team go zone. They just don't have that third defender that can guard a quick pg. I think if they would play zone and stay out on shooters it oculd get a team like Seattle out of their rhythm, they went to that one on one vs Jones about 9 times in a row to finish the game. If we could of got one or two stops we win the game.

As for Lebrons shot selection have you ever watched Kobe or AI he puts up half the amount of shots that they do and he scores just about as much.

I know some of his shots are bad, but I would rather him be takin a couple of them a game then say and Eric Snow or something. Not every shot you take are going to be a good shot selection, and even when he does take a shot when I am like why are taking this shot it sometimes goes in.

The person I am dissapointed in is Z. He has just not been assertive down low, he is taking the jumper too much. I want to see him start to dominate a litle down low.

I would like to see Wilks get more PT against quicker guards. Lebron and Hughes are the most explosive players on the team, but Wilks is the quickest. He should be able to defend quick players better than any of the other guards.

If you can stop the lead guard from penetrating in the lane than you can have a successful defense. Once he penetrates the defense collapses and it opens up an easy dunk/lay-up or perimeter shot. We just need someone to step up. Lebron needs to get better defensively, and it baffles me how someone with the physical gifts that he has cannot be at least a good defender. This is a team that will back into the play-offs and lose in the first round if they cannot start playing good defense. They are statistically dead last in the NBA in opponents 3-point percentage...

These past couple games have been absolutely ridiculous. I don't know if it is b/c the opponents just have been on fire or else we can't play defense. It seems every shot they have taken whether guarded, fading away, or open they are making. Hell vince Carter made a 28ft step back 3 pointer last nite.

The only good thing to come out of these games is that they are there at the end, even know they are letting the opponent put up 110 pts every nite. They need to find away to win these games and not let it slip away when they come back and tie it. Tonite they tied it at 98 with about 3 minutes left and last nite they took the lead 90-89 and then let NJ go an a 9-0 run.

Also can anyone answer this question for me. Lebron has 52 pts. is on fire all nite, hell he even made that bank shot 3 the last time down the court and we have Donyell Marshall throwing up a prayer with ten seconds left on teh shot clock. He was one basket away from having more than half out pts.
