The Cavs fucking suck, its that simple. They cant play defense, and no one other than Lebron can consistently make a shot. Its ridiculous, plus the fact that every fucking crucial call goes the other way, especially when we are making a comeback.

Now settle down a little bit. I know it has been hard to watch them give it up at the end lately, but they are still a good team. Really who has been playing good besides Lebron. Z has been playing decent but he has been getting in foul trouble. Hughes hasnt been assertive and hasnt been himself on the defensive end.

Also figure in the stretch where they lost these games. Indiana pasted us. We came back home where we lost a very tough game to Minnesota who played real well that nite. Then we won a tough game against a good Clippers team.(in OT nonethe less), then we went on a tough 3 game west coast trip losing at Seattle(shouldve won), losing at LA(for some reason we can't win in that city), then we won a very tough game against the Queens. Then we had to come home which is never easy after a long trip out west and we play the Nets where we look like we were sleep walking, Vince Carter plays the best game he has ever played in his life they make every fucking shot they take and we still had the lead 90-89 with about 6 left. Then we play a back to back game against teh Bucks who are a very solid team and we are there till the end again.

I am telling you what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger and these tough loses are only going to help in the future. WHen the other teams are shooting 99% against us and everyone has their A game instead of their B or lower game we will be putting wins together again.

Don't write us off yet.

Before or After Lebron becomes a free agent and gets inticed by New York or LA, and the Nike Money?

PLZ tell me you are joking about that.

Hopefully here within the next month or so.

Lets not forget they have Newble and Varejao coming back. Newble is real close, while he is not very good on the Offensive end he is a very good defensive player and will be able to put Hughes on someone else and then Hughes will not waste as much energy on the Defensive end and when Varejao comes back he is a ball of energy. YOu can just see it when he is on the court.

We will be fine. The season is only about a fourth of the way done. We will be fine. We arent getting blown out in these games, we are just not closing them out.

Well we beat the Nuggets tonite. The team played like they knew how to play tonite, they were moving a little bit more, they got the ball in the open court and they were knocking down shots, and most of all the learned how to play defense once again.

Lebron was all up in Melo's face all night, and Melo didnt have a very good game.

Lets hope this will propel us into this weekend's game against the Heat we are going to need our A game.

sometimes charles barkley is a complete ass, and other times he makes good points. he and magic were spot on when talking about the cavs. first they said cleveland should look into getting andre miller as they need a true pg that can penatrate and get guys involved in the offense, and snow and jones definately dont do that.

they then went on to discuss cleveland's weakness down low. they really seem to think that a lot of the defensive problems are a result of gooden and Z. In watching the game last night, they are right. outside of earl watson making ridiculous shots, you could see where the primary problem is. Z is just too slow defensively, and gooden is consistently out of position and lazy. if marshall wasnt content to stand at the 3 point line all night, he may get more minutes.

Last night the Cavs had spurts where they played good ball, but they are still a long way away from being a good team. Contrary to the NBA analysts I don't think PG is as much of a problem for the Cavs. Between Snow, Jones, Hughes, and Lebron they can get the ball up the court and have the ability to run the offense. Snow is a smart guy so he needs to change his play to best suit the rest of the team. Jones is a horrible defender, but most of the time he can nail open 3's which opens up Lebron and Hughes to slash to the basket. Z is a really bad defender as well because he's so slow, but as seen by the game against the Hawks Z might be a bigger factor to the Cavs scoring points than Lebron. He opens up everyone else on offense and usually draws a double team when he's posting up.
The Cavs biggest problem right now, is that Gooden is clueless on the defensive end. Deeper than that Gooden isn't the type of player that the Cavs need their PF to be. They need a big physical Ben Wallace type PF that isn't worried about scoring any points, just playing D and getting rebounds. The PF needs to be able to make up for Z's weak defense. I'm hoping that Varejao can help fill that void when he gets back this season. I don't think he is extremely physical, but he knows how to rebound and hopefully the coaches have been working on his defense while he's been rehabbing.
Another thing I noticed last night was that the Cavs need to start Marshall or Jones. They don't have anyone in their starting lineup that can shoot so opponents are able to pack around the lane and force the Cavs to take bad shots. As soon as they put Jones and Marshall in last night the whole offense seemed to open up. Perhaps Mike Brown is worried that if he moves Gooden to the bench right now he might tank the rest of the season so hopefully Varejao getting healthy will give Brown the flexibility to mess with the lineup and get a shooter in to start the game. I know Brown what's to set the defensive tone of the game early, but it would work better if the Cavs could come out hot on both ends of the court to get an early lead.

Well I konw a lot of Cavs fans don't like Z, but we all see what happened when he was out against hte Hawks.

I really do agree we could use Andre Miller, I was telling a friend of mine that last nite, and I also wish we just had someone to bang and play defense at the power forward spot. Someone like Danny Fortson or Reggie Evans from Seattle.

I wonder if the Sonics would trade Fortson for Gooden. Except for the foul trouble he would be just what the Cavs need.

I know that is exactally what I was thinking last nite when I was watching the sonics game that came on after the Cavs.

I would do that trade in a heartbeat especially since we have Varejao coming back soon.

I just want someone who can play physical and rebound.
