Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

But isn't that true for about 90% of all NBA coaches? Doc Rivers was HORRIBLE, but you add KG & Ray Allen along with Rondo and all of the sudden he is a genius.

The big dark secret in Cleveland is... how much of the offensive problems is LeBron's fault? What I mean by that is, how often does HE decide to NOT to follow the called play and run something else (ie the LeBron dribbles for 20 seconds then takes a 30 footer). Cuz you know Mike Brown would NEVER call out LeBron for something like that cuz LeBron can get him fired in 1 second.

I understand what you are saying, but it is not all about his lack of offensive knowledge...

He plays horrible matchups, doesn't understand matchups, use of timeouts, etc...I could go on, but he is getting by due to a great player and a good team...not his coaching skills...

Shaq and Z on the court at the same time never makes sense, unless you are playing a team with two other centers, because we will never use the guy with the mismatch in the post on offense and it clogs the lane for guys to drive...

The best thing about this game is that the Cavs seemed to figure out how to use Shaq a little better. He shot better than he has yet for the Cavs, but seemed to get some easier looks as well as making some nice passes. When will Parker learn to stop shooting off the dribble? I swear he hasn't made one yet.

I love Shaq...love that trade. And man did this team look the like the typical team from last year (at least in the 2/3/4th quarters). Hopefully they can keep up with this type of play.

Postives from tonight:
1. Cavs hold Wiz to 36 pts in the second half.
2. Shaq really got going tonight (7-9 from the field)
3. Boobie shot the ball really well (4-5 from 3)

Negatives:
1. Slow start, we looked horrible in the beginning
2. Anthony Parker 2-12? He needs to find the touch from outside he's too good of a shooter not to
3. Delonte seemed off tonight
