Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

It's like they do everything they can to lose games. Between Boobie being 0 for whatever on technical FT's, Mo chucking up bad shots in the last minute, or Andy trying to shoot from outside of 5 feet this team needs a don't do that guy to tell them what not to do. i.e. Parker should never shoot off the dribble. In the games that I have watched he has yet to make a shot off the dribble unless he finishes at the hoop. It's like all of these guys think they're MJ. Lebron is the only guy that should have the green light to chuck up any shot.
By playoff time this team will be better than they were last year, but they are going to struggle until they figure things out. A lot of the blame needs to go on Brown for his shitty rotations. Hell let me take care of who plays when and this is a better team.

They had one, he's coaching the Pissed-ons now.

It's gonna take a tremendous effort to overcome that man's coaching to win a championship. I have my doubts as to whether it can be done. We all sat and watched Ron Jeremy make a fool of him in the Conference Finals last summer and he's appeared even worse at times this season. I sometimes wonder if his IQ reaches triple digits.

Mo 4-15.

Z 0-9.

Cavs 12-20 from the line.

Anyone surprised that they only lost by 1?

Mo and Z were open all night. both were terrible, especially Z.
Z is at the end of the line. He was at his best when he got enough minutes and shots to develop a rhythm. Off the bench, he's essentially useless. Putting him and Shaq on the floor at the same time (two of the slooooowest players in the NBA) is so colosally stupid, only Mike Brown could dream it up.

Also, why was LBJ on the bench down 4-6 with 5:00 to go in the 4th? Mind boggling...

I'm beginning to think the best thing, long term, for this team is for them to stumble through January, get Mr. Potatohead canned and find a coach that isn't a hinderance. I don't know who's really out there, but most would be an upgrade over Mike Brown.

My expectations for the Cavs are now where they are for the rest of Cleveland sports (Indians, Browns.)

I have none.

Mike Brown cant coach.

Z is worthless.

Varejo thinks he can shoot jump shots.

Gibson and West are streaky.

Shaq and Z on the court at the same time? That doesnt work in todays NBA, teams are too athletic and fast.

Where was the foul?

There was definitely some contact on that last Cavs possession. I think only Dwayne Wade gets that call though.

It was definitely not the reason they lost though. Two horrible shots right before that by Mo Williams - among many other things - are better thing to point to than that last possession.
