Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

As much as I'm enjoying game five this series isn't over, yet.

If the Cavs do manage to win games six and seven, however, I'll remember all of the diehard Cavs fans who gave up on the season in the 3rd quarter of game five...while they're jumping back on the wagon.

Fans have every reason to give up when the team does first.

Losing is one thing. Laying down is quite another.

Just had to sneak that in didnt you? Really, you know we suffer enough as is.

edit: Lets just say by some drop-down praise jesus miracle that the Cavs win 6 & 7. I'll still be pissed for enducing a near heart-attack.

Wonder if King James will sign the Knicks contract on his was back from Boston ?????

He won't officially be able to sign that contract until July 1, 2010. But there will at least be an agreement in principle... or maybe there already has been one.

He played like he didn't want to be here anymore. It's sad, but that's certainly what it looked like.

Too bad the Cavs (Mavs?) can't dictate pace.

Every discussion this series is about how the Cavs match up against the C's. Is there any lineup that forces the C's to have to think about how to guard the Cavs?

boston has no answer for cleveland's pick and roll with antawn and LBJ. KG isn't quick enough to guard jamison on the perimeter and lebron is usually a good enough passer to find the open man if boston doubles down on it.

of course, that would require lebron to not stand 39 feet from the basket with delonte west running the point.

and it's not lebron just having a bad offensive game. he was absolutely terrible defensively, which never happens, even on his off nights offensively. there is something more going on.

Like the team were supposed to be rooting for? Nice slap in the face, but you should be slapping the players and coach in the face before slapping disgruntled fans in the face... Remember it's been since 1990 since Ohio has had anything to cheer about professionally. It's long overdue, and frustration is just a product of what us Ohio fans endure year in and year out.

Kenny Smith was exactly right at halftime. The bench looked depressed. No energy whatsoever from the Cavs. Terrible looking team tonight. There's no reason they cant play defense for 48 minutes even if the shots arent falling on offense. Got to play JJ more and I'd like to see more Boobie in the next game for the offensive spark. Mo Williams is an outright liability right now. Sad situation for the Cavs and Cleveland fans altogether.
