Cavs 09-10 Season (official thread)

I know very little about Telfair... why would we keep him and let Darnell go? I like Darnell

How many bigs can a team keep? Darnell just got caught in a numbers game. While itown is right about Telfair's contract. IF he is healthy next year, he might be a needed backup PG for the team since the Cavs are not going to make many moves in free agency this year.

I would have liked to keep Darnell, but at this point I can't blame Gilbert for cutting the lowest salary. When Shaq gets back they won't have any minutes for JJ or Powe so Darnell would be overkill. I just hope he doesn't pop up someplace that will come back to bite the Cavs in the future.

Just a random observation...what the fuck is going on with Jamison's FT shooting? He comes to Cleveland and turns into Ben Wallace at the stripe. The guy is a career 73.0% shooter from the line, now he can barely stay above 40%. The sample size is now too large to call an aberration.

Lakers lose, all but locking up home-court for the Cavs.

Cavs- 58-16
Lakers- 54-20, 4 GB
Magic- 52-22, 6 GB

8 games to go. Cleveland can go 4-4 and still get the HCA (tie-breaker with LA).

Time for the playoffs to start...
