Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

game. 87-83....helluva comeback.

Mo hit some shots when they mattered most. At one point, Cleveland was 0-15 from 3.

LeBron stuffed the stat-sheet, and Boobie did a little of everything as well, including a few nice rebounds in traffic.

Again, Delonte needs to find his game. He got benched tonight in the fourth in favor of Boobie, which was the right call. I don't think Delonte played a minute of the fourth...

Okay, this has to be something that doesn't happen very often...but LeBron led, not just the Cavs, but BOTH teams in:

Points, Assists, Rebounds, Offensive Rebounds, Steals, and Blocks

haha and turnovers too...not that it's a good stat...but those are the 6 main stats for a game, and he was the leader amoung everyone on the court...come on...somebody needs to find out when the last time this happened was.

Nice post.

Now that I've caught my breath, just have to say that these are the games that Championship caliber teams win. Hey, stay with what's working, and tonite, it worked!

Peace

Looks like some guys had hand cramps from signing autographs for 2 hours at the auto show Sunday. Better late than never.

my heart almsot stopped after that injury...

West?

I fell asleep in the 3rd when the Suns went on a run. Looks like Pavs had a big 4th quarter along with Lebron and Mo. Even in Wade's best week Lebron is going to snatch player of the week out from under him.
The difference in the Cavs this year compared to previous years is that they have someone else who is capable of putting up big numbers in a game like this. Last year they would have lost this game by 10. In the first half Lebron was running around like he was possessed. Getting rebounds, harrassing guys other than his man, basically just causing havoc. I love it.

LeBron went down with a knee injury in the late thrid, and they cut away to a commercial while he was down in pain. It looked like it could have been serious, but like all LeBron injuries, it looked worse than it was, and he played through it. He collided knees with Grant Hill.

Either Lebron milks it for everything it's worth or he's secretly Wolverine.

Replay showed the collision with Grant was on his left knee,
The collision in the 4th with Shaq (his 6th foul) was to his right knee.
Still Lebron gets a lot of violent collisions (think trauma, not drama) to his knees.
