Cavs 08-09 Season - Central Div Champs (official thread)

And right on time, the Cavs open up the 4th with a run... the Kings seem like they made everything they threw up in the 3rd including a bank in 3, and the refs can't give the Cavs a break. That being said they're down big to the Kings which is just unacceptable.

Pathetic effort, LeBron appears to be the only guy who bothered to show up. A loss here is probably the best thing. You cannot go out, sleepwalk, and expect a win. You never know when a team is gonna play their best game of the year like the Kings appear to be tonight.

1. The terrible defense cannot be overstated.

2. God, I would hate to be a Kings fan. I'm watching it from a Kings feed, and after every single good play they zoom in on one of the Maloofs. It is ridiculous. Plus one of the Maloofs spent the entire 2nd quarter at the commentating booth. They also interviewed 2 Kings season ticket holders, and asked why it is so great to be a Kings fan. Fascinating stuff.

The Cavs get to within 4 and then the Kings open in right back up to 9 with a circus shot that goes in from Martin... I agree with some others, a loss might be the best thing for this team.

Don't get me wrong, I want the win. You can't just take bad losses when home court means so much.

But they just continue to come out every single night, and expect the other team to curl up in a ball and concede the win. The close win against the Clippers was embarrassing, the effort against Houston was awful, the defense was brutal against Phoenix for 3 quarters, etc.

Just feels like they're laying off the gas pedal a bit....
