Cavs 07-08 Season Thread

Kevin Keane was talking about possible Cavs trades after the game and mentioned that there were rumblings of one I would do in an instant. I personally don't think Memphis would be dumb enough to take this, but this is what he was talking about...

Cavs Get:
Mike Miller
Kyle Lowry
Brian Cardinal (big contract)

Memphis gets:
1st rounder
lots of cash
Shannon Brown
Dwayne Jones
Donyell Marshall
Ira Newble
Cedric Simmons

Again, I highly doubt the Grizz would go for it cause thats a horrible deal for them, but it was being talked about last night. That would leave us with a lineup I would feel very comfortable with going into the playoffs...

PG- Hughes
SG- Miller
SF- LeBron
PF- Drew
C- Z

Bench- Andy, Boobie, Pavs, Devin Brown, and Lowry/Cardinal

I would take that in a second especially with Boobie out for a period of time now. An idiot on Yahoo had Miller and Lowry for Snow and Newble (and I would have to guess a first round pick next year). I think a team can throw in 3 mil with any deal with no penalty. The only problem with Miller is that I constantly have to make fun of his very feminine hair.

Great win tonight, excellent block by hughes as well.

Also you all might wanna check out the lakers v suns game, its pretty sweet.

If by block you mean rake across the arm and awful no-call by the official. I'll take it though, Hughes got screwed on the charging call where the defensive player didn't even make contact.

This would have been a terrible loss, so it's great we got the "W".

I agree with the call on the charge...If anything the defender initiated the contact by putting his shoulder into Hughes...And Hughes went to the side of him...

The Cavaliers' LeBron James shoots against the Pacers. He finished with 31 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists.

INDIANAPOLIS -- With all due respect to the NBA's top talent, Cleveland coach Mike Brown considers the MVP race over.

LeBron James had his second consecutive triple-double, with 31 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists, and the Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers 106-97 last night.
Brown was most impressed that the triple-doubles came on back-to-back nights. James had 26 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists Tuesday in a loss to Houston.

Rumors swirling there might be something in the works by 3 oclock tomm...Interesting to say the least...

Not just a deal, a reported blockbuster. It must be big because the Cavs are reportedly trying to get a #1 in return. Hughes has been playing well lately, but no way they could expect to get a #1 pick in return for him. The only player on the roster that would get a #1 and a player in return is Gibson. This reported attempt is also said NOT to be the rumored Mike Miller trade.
