Cavs 07-08 Season Thread

Every time I watch the Cavs, I come away with the same opinion of Lebron: He's the best player in the league.

I don't even think it's close either. LeBron has the ability to dominate in multiple ways. The name that always comes up is Kobe, but Kobe is a scorer plain and simple. Kobe can't defend 4 positions on the court either, although he is a good defender.

I had this discussion the other day in terms of starting a team who do you take...

The top 3 in my mind are obviously 1. LBJ.............................2/3. Dwight Howard or Kobe...

And it isn't that close...It depends on what you want form your team in terms post presence or guard play in terms of Kobe vs. Dwight...

LBJ has taken his game to a level that that I didnt think he would be at this season...He has been doing so much more in terms of his overall game this year, like working the post, using the left hand more when going to hoop, shooting the ball better, playing very good defense down the stretch against the other teams best player, and is becoming an even better leader...That is why I never count the Cavs out...

Drew looks absolutely lost on help defense so far today.
Shocking. He's seriously retarded. Outside of Mongo Gooden, the rest of the Cavs look pretty damn good. While I've been rather frustrated with the Cavs for a majority of the year, cbf40 is right...with LeBron, you can never count the Cavs out. He has taken his game to a whole new level. If we could somehow, someway package Hughes and Gooden together to get Kidd, I'd be ecstatic.

LeBrons top 5 favorite NBA players according to his halftime plug for some cell-phone co.

1. Jason Kidd
2. Dwight Howard
3. Dwayne Wade
4. Kobe
5. Chris Paul

Interesting Jason Kidd is #1. Making a play? J. Kidd surely isn't the same caliber as the other 4 at this point. He'd sure make LeBron's life a lot better though.

It's well publicized that they would like to play together. Too bad it will probably never happen. Unless they could find a 3 way deal with someone willing to take Hughes.

Cavs in their normal 3rd quarter drought.
