I'm still rooting for Auburn to hang one on Saban, then sit back and watch the SEC scramble to figure out what to do about the CCG as well as bowl game placements. Glad I'm not the commish...

they better start scrambling now.
Auburn clinched the west last weekend.

if they ineligible, then there are 3 teams still "mathematically" alive

Go through my umpti-billion posts and find where I ever claimed that Auburn was a real university????

Guys, had you, before this alleged disclosure, asked most any SEC fan about Auburn University and the cheat cocktail that is the Venn diagram of Trooper
Taylor and Bobbah Lowder - and come up with anything but a vehement confirmation that they were doing bad stuff over there....again.....and I would be shocked.

Bobby Lowder and Auburn is not news to anyone who follows SEC football. The ascension of Alabama virtually assured that Auburn would be cheating heavily again. That is just how Auburn rolls.

And you will not believe me on this, but how Auburn and Lowder roll is not how the rest of us roll. The rest of us roll like the rest of the major conferences roll. Which is not always perfect or pretty, but it damn sure ain't like Lowder and Auburn.

OK, what now? Who is going to show leadership in that conference? Let's be honest, Auburn might be the most psychopathic killer on the SEC death row, but they're not the only one convicted of murder. It's been common knowledge for decades that the ADs run the show in the SEC. Where are the reforms going to come from? While Vandy seems the logical answer, it's safe to say that--even if GG were still there--there's only so much weight they carry. Is the UF prez going to be the one taking the lead at the podium (and in the back rooms) in the aftermath of this shitstorm?

As far as I'm concerned, any SEC university not at the forefront of trying to reform that conference will be considered guilty of just wanting to get back to the status quo.

I'll Swanney! It's almost like you have a low opinion of the SEC Ord. What next? A dislike of Coach Meyer?

This is just such BULLSHIT.

Unbelievable what these nimwits are doing to my favorite sport...

Now, question is, what are the chances that the entrance to AU was clean, ie, no $$?

Yeah, OK, you can stop laughing now...my bad...

All I've seen is he-said, she-said, oh I have a text, yeah, but that phone fell in water..
Yeah...his buddy called another buddy, who called me...

I mean, SERIOUSLY?

This is freaking 2010 - When I read the texting shit, I logged into my AT&T wireless account, and I have access to my detailed bills back to 6/2009.
Shows all numbers texted to, all number texts were received from, plus date and time. Not the actual text, but at least ya got a date time.

It was in the phone but the phone was damaged by water?

:slappy:

There's some seriously FU'd up shit going on...

And, yeah, hold the laughter, what IF Cam knew nothing of this, and happens to have a trailer-trash father?

Politics outisde the Poli fourm?

This picture is actually relevant to this thread, since George Wallace appointed Bobby Lowder to Auburn's Board of Trustees back in 1983.

And anybody who doesn't know who Lowder is hasn't been reading this thread, or its interesting links, very closely. :wink2:

Here is the ultimate question. Auburn finishes undefeated but all of this blows up before Xmas and all of this is exposed and NCAA sanctions are pending, How can the BCS even allow Auburn to play?

The BCS and the bowls aren't affiliated with the NCAA, although the NCAA sure looks the other way in allowing their members what to play in.

My alma mater is 5-6 and we lost to fucking Colorado.
Ain't nobody looking at us and accusing us of cheating.

Gator - you think da Corch and his staff are burning down the phone lines calling AU commits telling them the hand of god is coming down and they need to take a look at UF? Cause I'm pretty sure Georgia's doing it right now.
