Cam Newton (QB New England Patriots)

At this point, I have to believe many voters would love to see Auburn lose to Bama so they can drop them several spots without having it be obvious they did so as a preemptive strike to having a BCS title participant DQ'd, perhaps before the game is even played.

Hell, let Oregon lose, too. Put TCU-Boise in the BCS title game. Let 'em sell that one for a month.

+ the FBI is involved and if they have half the evidence that link says they do, the NCAA won't really have much work to do performing their own shitty slow investigation because all of their work has already been done for them
I don't know. If this is true, Auburn may have found a way around the National Collegiate Athletic Association by, you know, not being collegiate anymore. Pretty wily.

I've mentioned it to a few people before I think but in the mid 1990's I worked at a car dealership in Atlanta that was widely known to provide cars to Auburn athletes. It was back when individual people owned a ton of dealers and this one particular king maker type had a granddaughter that went to Auburn. The working folk at the store, wanting to be in the good graces of the family, had a soft spot in their heart for Auburn shall we say.

I personally witnessed a kid fill out a credit application and list a healthy monthly income and for source he put "Auburn athletic department". I shit you not. The manager of the joint, who had an EE degree from Auburn, tore it up right in front of me laughing about what a dumbass the kid was.

Jaywalking compared to this stuff but it gives a sense of how blatant they are and how long its been going on.

My real nightmare scenario is we get an Auburn vs Boysee NCG and they declare Newton ineligible before the game.

You wanna talk about a glass case of fucking emotion.

Actually, if you are against the BCS, this is the BEST thing to happen for the NC game.

Think about it. Total Crap U and Bull Shit U in the NC will draw a big yawn, yes. BUT, an Auburn who might lose literally everything (SEC membership, acreditation, football in general) without the "best paid player in football" against Bull Shit U would totally make the BCS a fucking joke. And not a stupid fucktard Dane Cook kind of joke, I am talking Eddie Murphy in his prime kind of joke.

because they, along with every other big time program, have been getting away with it for years. if MSU had kept their mouths shut, they'd still be getting away with it.

I've been hearing the "the BCS would implode if this happened" argument for a long time now. It's not going anywhere and we'd still be stuck with Boise fucking statue of liberty State as National Champ.

I'm like num's. If it happened I'm done with any non Buckeye related college football.
