What a shame, CJ was playing with NFL first round pick written all over him:(

get well soon CJ,and get ready to get back to blowing people up next year....you'll be a difference maker next year.

as far as having first round pick written all over him, lets not get ahead of ourselves. He was making an impact against Miami to be sure, in the 3 quarters of a game that he played I was very impressed. but a little premature to declare him a 1st round talent. Not many Safeties go in 1st round.

Remember, Rob Coleman was a 7th rd pick. Even Doss wasn't a first round pick.

did I say Rob WTF...my bad Kurt Coleman LOL

C.J. could very well end up a bigger version of Kurt Coleman. I loved the way Coleman played and I always felt he was one of the better safeties to come through here in a long time. I saw some of the same things from C.J. as I did from Coleman. C.J. will be all big 10 in a few years. Hope he recovers 110%. Go Bucks

With all due respect to Kurt, I don't recall seeing anything from him on the level of Barnett's play within the first two games of his career. Considering him along with other guys who looked as good as early, All American status (at some point) is not out of the question for CJ.

Of course, what usually comes next is the obligatory "let's not go annointing him yet..." speech from the usual suspects. To forestall that nonsense I will point out that no one has annointed him anything. It has simply been stated as being "not out of the question".

Agree wholeheartedly. That spot was a position of real concern for me coming into the season. Barnett showed that he can lay the wood! Coleman was more of an overachiever. He had a great work ethic and was a smart player. But he never had CJ's physical tools at his disposal. Very, very impressive, especially for a converted corner (which Coleman was also). Sad to see him go. Step up, OJ!

I think CJ is gonna be a good player. But I also think we should see more than 1 good game before we start saying All american and compare him to Kurt Coleman. Kurt was a great safety, and if CJ can be anything like Kurt we got a good one.

Well, he did a hell of an impression on Saturday. Kurt was largely invisible until about the middle of his junior season when the light came on. Barnett seems ahead of the curve.
