C Amir Williams (Worcester Wolves - England)

I expect a McD's AA to be able to catch the ball, grasp a rebound, and score from 2 feet. Given that he has not been able to consistently do those things, is the problem here really my high expectations?
I realize what you are saying but according to his teammates and coaches it is not because of lack of effort. And high school when you are 6 '11 it is rather simple to do those things because of your size advantage. I do not think that he is that uncoordinated just by the way he shoots free throws. Sure I wish he was more dominant of a player but Matta probably thinks that is what he was handling when he offered him. That article sort of put things in perspective with regard to Amir as far as I am concerned.

Amir Williams (6’11”-C-92, graduated ’15, plays in Uruguay) was not able to help one of league’s weakest teams Hebraica (1-8) in their last game on Thursday. Despite his very good performance Hebraica was defeated 92-83 in a derby game by the second-ranked Olimpia. Williams scored 15 points, had 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks. Williams has relatively good stats this season 10.3ppg and 5.7rpg.
